Booked a front-row pitch on the Main riverbank online one day in advance. Extremely friendly welcome from the very laid-back site manager, excellent pitch, excellent sanitary facilities, and everything exceptionally clean. Very nice site manager and owner! Clean and adequate sanitary facilities. The only negative point is the motorhome toilet disposal next to the dishwashing area. Although separated by a wall, the smell is still significant. There is also a freezer in the sanitary building with an honesty box. The whisky distillery nearby is worth a visit. We stayed there with an 8 m motorhome for only one night because of the terrible weather. Otherwise, we would have stayed longer. The pitches for touring motorhomes are all spacious, level, and directly on the Main. Everything is very clean and the operator is a great guy. If someone complains about potholes on the approach road, I can only be amazed. At slow speed, it is no problem at all.✦Translating

Great for families, as there is a playground and a small bathing cove in the Main with loungers right next door and within direct sight. There is also a beer garden, and the cycle path runs right alongside. Very nice site manager and clean sanitary facilities. There is even a freezer. Excellent campsite; I chose a pitch on the riverbank. Lots of wild birds. Nice café/restaurant 300 m away, and a town with a bakery, delicatessen, pharmacy, and more. The owner was very relaxed and accommodating. We will return. We highly recommend it.✦Translating

The site is pretty, admittedly, but the campsite has some weaknesses: the toilets are clean but very old, and the showers are basic, costing €2 for 5 minutes; however, you have to let them run for at least a minute before the water gets warm.
