A flat parking area beside the Picos de Europa Visitor Center, with trees, views, and plenty of space. Traffic can be heavy during the day but is usually very light after 9 p.m. The visitor center has toilets and allows water bottles to be refilled. Campers are not permitted beside the football pitch, although the riverside shade can be reached on foot.

Good overnight stop. Motorhomes are not allowed at the football field, but you can walk there with chairs to sit in the shade by the river. There is also seating along the footpath. The visitor center has toilets and you can refill your bottles with water. There is a waste container by the parking area.
Easy to find and park, as it is alongside the main road. Plenty of parking and an interesting visitor center; some of the information boards are in English.
We parked on the parking next to football pitch and it seemed better as it is hidden from the road. Two nights without any problem. We recommend this spot.
Great location, shaded by trees. It's flat, no slope, and has beautiful views. There's a lot of traffic during the day, but after 9 p.m. there's almost no traffic. This place is much better than the dirty parking lot behind the BM supermarket.
This really does depend on your sensitivity to noise, it’s on a major route that takes truck traffic. We found it to be very quiet at night, traffic noise picked up about 7 am. We shared it with one HGV the night we stayed. But it’s flat, well lit, and feels very safe. We slept well.
I do not recommend it for sleeping. The traffic noise is quite loud and continuous.
Quiet place. We only slept here overnight; it was very quiet. From 7 a.m. there is more car activity, but it was fine.
The visitor center is wonderful to visit, but I would advise against spending the night here. Many cars drive past at 80 km/h, even late in the evening and early in the morning. Since you are right beside the road, it is difficult to sleep peacefully.
Flat quiet parking by the visitor centre. Would be amazing to begin hikes from here. Sadly it was extremely wet when I stayed. Opposite fire station so felt very safe.
Clarification: this refers to the large parking area along the road. It is flat and easy to access for our 8-meter vehicle, reasonably quiet, and the only flat, available place nearby for the night at 11:15 p.m., after doing via ferrata routes. In La Hermida, parking is impossible. The Potes supermarket is one to avoid: dirty, steep, and full.
