Shaded picnic stop, barking dogs

Very good for a picnic.

A woman in a white pickup drove by and took photos of us without saying a word, so we preferred to leave. Along with the noise of a pack of dogs barking nearby, it feels like hunters are around.

We had a very peaceful night. We could barely hear the barking dogs inside our motorhome.

We stopped in the shade here on a 34-degree day: ideal, as the place is very shady and there is no traffic on the road. However, a kennel not far away does indeed produce numerous barks from time to time.

Ideal except for the dozen dogs 100 metres away; we left and went somewhere else.

In reality, up to three large motorhomes fit, but the last one blocks access for all the others. It is ideal if you are travelling in a group of more than one motorhome with the same schedule. In that case, the last one leaves at the same time as the first, and it is perfect for you. If you are travelling independently, the first to arrive gets the spot. We spent a peaceful night listening to the birds.

Pleasant place in the middle of nature, with only a couple of neighbouring houses in the distance. Picnic table and small rubbish bin. The only sound was birdsong. There is some shade, but you have to move around to find it.

Apart from the occasionally barking dogs, a lovely quiet spot with the luxury of a picnic table. We stayed for one night and nobody bothered us.
