This free parking area is 100 m from the town centre and suitable for an overnight stop. Toilets are available, and the area becomes quiet after midnight. Nearby streets have bars, restaurants and gyros, but traffic, buses and occasional trains can make it very noisy. The parking is somewhat dirty, with no services apart from bins and toilets.

Good place to park overnight in the town center, with toilets. Quiet after midnight. Excellent gyros and pancakes at Joy restaurant.
Excellent place, a short walk from the main street, which is full of bars and restaurants serving good food and drinks. We spent two quiet nights before crossing the nearby border.
A bit abandoned and dirty, but good for one night.
Very noisy parking area. The adjacent road is heavily trafficked, locals use the parking area as a shortcut, and there is plenty of traffic from tour buses in the morning. Apart from trash bins, there are no service facilities.
Safe place but very noisy; slept terribly. Used as an overnight stop heading toward Thessaloniki. It is better to sleep at the last gas station in Macedonia.
Very secure spot, excellent food nearby (gyros), but quite noisy due to coaches and the train.
