Been here?
A spacious campsite beside a beach in a nature-reserve setting, with open-field and wooded pitches and plenty of room to choose where to stay. The single sanitary building has toilets and showers, though recent comments found the facilities old and the shower floor needing cleaning. Washing, drying and waste disposal are available, and the beach is also suitable for dogs. The site is generally quiet, but wooded areas can have many mosquitoes.

I would not call this a nature campsite. A large part of the campsite is a big open field. Behind the current toilet building are several sheltered spots. At the moment there is only one toilet building; the toilets and sinks were clean. The shower floor could use a good scrubbing. Tip: wear flip-flops when showering. The cooking and dishwashing facilities are fine.Translating
The campsite is quite nicely located for one night... The sanitary facilities should really be cleaned properly.Translating
We decided at short notice to spend the night there because the places in Stockholm were already fully booked. Very friendly staff. The toilets/showers are old but clean. There was plenty of space for everyone, as there were only a few people. A good alternative near Stockholm.Translating
I find the campsite very beautiful. One star deducted because there is only one sanitary building, so the distances are very long. Construction is currently underway, so perhaps more will be added. There is a beach, although other guests also swim there, which is not bothersome. €36 for two people with electricity is perfectly reasonable. I would gladly return.Translating
It is simply a meadow with several electrical hook-up points. You can also stay in other areas, more in the woods, but there are many mosquitoes there. The sanitary facilities were open around the clock and reasonably clean during our stay. You need a code, so you have to register, although this is possible until around 10 p.m., I think. It costs 400 SEK including electricity. There is a lake.Translating
A very beautiful location by the nature reserve. The sanitary facilities are outdated, and they were locked at night (10 p.m. to 9 a.m.). Therefore, there was no access to the showers and toilets during that time. For the price (400 SEK), this is unacceptable. A shame for such a beautiful spot.Translating
Huge, quiet, inexpensive campsite with various pitches (open field, forest, lake), many with electricity. Washing machine and dryer included! 4G/5G reception. The staff are nice. Sanitary facilities are available, but could definitely be cleaner! Everything needed for waste disposal is available.Translating
Limited amount of showers, but everything you need is there and free of charge (also doing laundry). Great beach, also a dog beach. Friendly staff. More than fair price. Translating
Very spacious campsite. Beautiful natural surroundings, large pitches, and a lovely beach. One minor drawback is that there are few showers.Translating
Quiet and large campsite. Fine as a stopover. The sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated, but no problem for a true camper.Translating
Extremely quiet and pleasant place, with a nice beach and a huge lawn where you can choose freely where to stay.Translating
Nice place, you can choose from plenty of space where to park. Men showers were ok, womens showers were really dirty with black mould on the tiles, seemed like months without cleaning.Translating
Friendly staff and a pleasant view of the lake. However, the campsite is open to everyone because of beach access, including pedestrians and cars. We saw cars enter and leave a pitch where a family party with about twenty people and five other cars was taking place. The next day, one of our neighbors reported that a fridge had been stolen. The sanitary facilities are really poorly maintained.Translating
The price was €37 for two adults, a child, a dog, and electricity. Showers, toilets, kitchen—everything is available. Quiet and peaceful, beautiful nature :)Translating
Beautiful, quiet spot directly on the fjord, with a great view of the water. Very peaceful, but unfortunately the sanitary facilities are badly in need of renovation; otherwise 5 stars.Translating
For us (two adults and two children), a great stay with a tent. In the forest there are wonderful swimming coves; it is quiet, and the sanitary facilities were clean. We would definitely return. Unfortunately, I cannot add a photo, but it was beautiful by the water in the sunshine.Translating
Fantastic place, wonderful. The only point for improvement is that a tap with water is needed where the toilet cassette is emptied, so it can be rinsed properly.Translating
Idyllic place. The surroundings are unbeatable. We spent one night and only used the service point for filling and emptying. It would be good to have a water tap at the chemical toilet emptying point so it could be cleaned properly.Translating
We liked the place very much. The reception was friendly and uncomplicated. We were free to choose a pitch from several options. If you are staying only one night and want to do laundry, book a time slot at check-in. The washing machine and dryer are great. The showers are somewhat outdated, but fully functional with hot water. The service station is excellent.Translating
The sanitary facilities are somewhat old and acceptably clean. The beach is heavily soiled with goose droppings and is rarely cleaned. Currently, extremely many day visitors come to the beach, sometimes driving through the pitches to bring equipment. Music included. If you are looking for peace and quiet, avoid this place in summer or stay in the upper section.Translating
We had a wonderfully quiet night; you can choose your own pitch. There are sunny and shady places, with or without electricity. Nearby there is a petrol station and shopping, with good access to the motorway. There is a stove, microwave, and dishwashing area. Fresh water can be replenished and waste disposed of. We felt safe.Translating
Large campsite, friendly reception. The sanitary facilities are old but adequate, with hot water. Only one washing machine, which was free to use. The bread rolls available to order are not very good—chewy. The main advantage is the location for visiting Stockholm: 15 minutes from Ostertalje station, from where the metro takes 35 minutes to the city center.Translating
Very beautiful, everything clean, with an amazing view of the sunset and the water. Great for swimming; showers, toilets, and everything else are excellent. The photos show mould and so on, but it is no longer like that. Freedom and privacy are highly valued. Fishing and a lovely jetty are available.Translating
A really beautiful, large campsite. One point deducted because the sanitary facilities are not quite optimal.Translating
Excellent campsite. Apart from the washing machine, we only used the powered pitch and stayed at the very back, across from the playground, with a view of the lake. The staff member was very friendly, and the spaciousness is simply indescribable.Translating
Beautifully located, with plenty of places to stay—an unbelievable amount of space. Two hiking trails right around the site offer breathtaking views. The only drawback is the showers. They are absolutely disgusting. I mentioned this at reception; they said they would speak to the cleaning company. We will see.Translating
We are delighted! Great nature campsite with plenty of space to choose your own pitch. Toilets, hot showers, washing machine, dryer, and camper service point are all free and included. Dogs are allowed, and everyone is very nice and helpful. Yes, the showers are somewhat outdated, but clean! We clearly recommend it.Translating
We stayed one night longer. With an 8 m camper without electricity, we paid 300 SEK and, thanks to the free choice of pitch and a bit of luck, stood directly by the water behind the yellow toilet building. Yes, everything here is a little old. But for the location, unlimited hot showers, and clean toilets, 300 SEK is currently quite reasonable.Translating
I have never seen such a poorly maintained campsite. Everything in the bathroom and shower is covered in black mould and smells absolutely musty. It is not cleaned there. 400 SEK for two people with a camper. In our opinion, too expensive. We would not return because of the disgusting sanitary facilities.Translating
