Shopping parking, restricted access

We parked there many times, but always during the day and we never had any issues. It is completely free of charge and not too noisy, we felt safe and nobody bothered us. The parking lot is nothing special, just an esplanade in front of a store but it is flat and very spacious. There aren't any services available but at the nearby shop there are toilets and a restaurant inside.

We slept here in early October for the OneRepublic concert. The arena can be reached on foot. Highly recommended for concerts.

Very quiet parking area with some almost-flat spots, close to the shopping center and restaurants.

We parked here safely and comfortably for visiting the city. The train connection is very good. In the evening we even saw security in the parking lot. We parked at the back so as not to disturb anyone.

Quiet and safe overnight stay. Google Maps tries to take you via the shortest route, but that leads through the underground car park with a height limit. Therefore, use the entrance next to the Leroy Merlin DIY store (see photo). Very good internet. Public toilets and coffee are available in the shopping centers.

We slept here on April 21, 2023, for the Roger Waters concert. Relatively quiet and strategically located for the Unipol Arena.

We stayed two nights for an event at the Unipol Arena, which is on the opposite side of the road. Excellent location for reaching Bologna by train, since the station is a few minutes' walk from the parking lot. Convenient also because of the shops in the adjacent large shopping center.

We parked at Leroy Merlin. At 5 a.m. an alarm went off, presumably at a nearby store, and at 6:30 they started cleaning the parking lot with a petrol-powered leaf blower. Still, it was a quiet place to park overnight and during the day.

Although very hard to give stars to a parking space, it was easy to get to and handy for a one night stop. We were the only van parked; it was odd in that the wooded area behind had lovely bird sounds and the slightly industrial nature of the area had quite a bit of noise. I litter picked in the morning as it was filthy. All clean now! Enjoy.

Stayed overnight after a concert; well lit, with services just a few steps away inside the shopping center.
