Been here?
This is a large, free gravel parking area opposite a quiet residential neighbourhood, suitable for stays of maximum 48h. It is well placed for an overnight stop before or after the ferry, with forest walks, hiking and mountainbiking nearby. The ground is partly sloping, a rubbish bin is available, but there are no public toilets. It can fill quickly with walkers and bikers, especially at weekends.

Perfect for spending the night before the ferry. No toilets or anything else. The pitch is partly sloping.
We spent a very peaceful night. It is a residential area and a good place for hiking. You can hear the river flowing beside it. Thank you for making these places available to us.
After a ferry crossing, we went to this area, which suited us for one night and for hiking in the forest. There is also a lake to visit.
Spacious pitch, slightly sloping. Several hikes start here. Five out of five dog paws. The rubbish bin is in the upper third on the forest side. At weekends the place quickly fills with hikers, cyclists, and others.
Perfect for one night before or after the ferry. In a very quiet residential neighborhood. Rubbish bin available. I recommend it.
We arrived from the ferry at 11:15 p.m. and slept very peacefully and well. The place is quickly accessible from the ferry. A simple site, but completely sufficient!
We spent one night here after the ferry crossing. Completely adequate for that purpose.
Good place to rest.
We drove here at 2 a.m. after the ferry crossing, in mid-June. There was enough space. Completely adequate for sleeping. A rubbish bin is available. There are no public toilets here. We can recommend the place.
Large dirt car park, had very difficult to level the camper, didn't stayed.
Good spot to get to after a late ferry from Værøy. Closer to houses than I normally like but fine. Nice forest walks in the morning.
We slept here for one night on 25/06/25. Large unpaved parking area, but very quiet and suitable for doing a hike.
Parking in a quiet residential neighborhood. Close to the ferry. No toilet.
48-hour parking, 10 minutes from the ferry. A little noisy in the morning. Residential neighborhood. Hiking trails start nearby. 4G. No toilet.
We spend a quiet night after the ferry from Lofoten
At exactly midnight, two trucks appeared and took turns using the water supply point in the area. This continued until 4 a.m., making sleep impossible. On top of that, a school class apparently had a hiking day, and the parents loudly picked them up at exactly midnight. To crown it all, at 7:30 a.m. a wheel loader arrived and leveled the gravel parking area. For us, this was the worst place we have found on Park4Night so far.
We had a very quiet night. Huge parking area, with houses directly opposite. The upper section is quite sloping and only usable with leveling wedges. Various walking and cycling routes are available locally.
A huge, sloping dirt lot, but excellent for resting for a few hours after the ferry journey from Lofoten.
We arrived here around 4 in the morning after the ferry from Lofoten. We slept well; the place is very good and quiet. Then we went into town to wash clothes, using the laundromat in the harbor, do some shopping, and change tires. Around 8 p.m. we returned to sleep here again. 5 stars!
A great place to spend the night after the ferry crossing. It was very quiet and pleasant.
I have no idea what happened to the previous individual, but for us, it was a fantastic evening. Extremely safe and tranquil. We arrived after disembarking from the ferry at 3:30 am.
Go elsewhere if you want a night's sleep. Noisy. Noisy. Noisy!
Quite noisy and there were many people present when we arrived. But it is less than 10 minutes from the Lofoten ferry, which we took very early this morning, so it is ideal for sleeping before departure.
Large, quiet parking area a short distance from the ferry terminal. Ideal for spending the night after arriving by ferry. Quiet; I recommend it.
We drove there at night after the ferry for a few hours of sleep. There were four other campers besides us. Plenty of space. Quiet. Excellent.
Great free parking before or after the ferry. Relatively quiet, with little noise.
Very large free parking area, limited to 48 hours. It slopes a little, but with leveling blocks we were perfectly fine! Thanks.
Beautiful parking area with a new surface, but noisy in the morning because of nearby construction. Like many others, we went there after getting off the ferry at night. Some campers are not discreet when they arrive…
