Nature parking, quiet weekdays

Spacious parking area with an exclusive motorhome section and picnic areas. The interpretation center or park office has toilets (available during opening hours) and a fountain. There are lots of routes in the area; one of them reaches Gorbea. The river is very good for swimming and has several pools.

We spent Saturday night until Sunday, and when we woke up the police were monitoring the area. No fines or anything. Very clean, fairly level and very beautiful. Toilets open during the day. Please respect the area!

No services outside the information point's opening hours. Only access to a water point. Peaceful natural setting, with walks possible nearby with a dog. The river passes not far away, and a 10-minute walk leads to a natural pool with a pretty little waterfall where you can swim. Fairly flat ground, plenty of space, very quiet.

A lovely and quiet spot today. Four vans scattered around. We did a great four-hour hike. The river has pools to swim in, but it is currently too cold. The plots are fairly level; we only needed one chock. No services, as described, but when the visitor center is open, they have toilet facilities.

Excellent location. No motorhome services, but a very quiet night. There were four or five motorhomes.

The parking area is absolutely quiet during the week, and there is enough space for motorhomes separate from cars. There are no services except many picnic tables and rubbish bins. Very beautiful area.

Very quiet during the day on weekdays. More visitors at the weekend. Peaceful nights. Follow the brown signs indicating the direction of the park. Several areas for motorhomes are marked with signs. Hiking trails. Downside: very poor internet reception.

Spectacular. One of the best places I have ever stayed. Quiet, with facilities and easy trails if you come with children. Picnic area, swings and silence. Beautiful, comfortable and clean.

CAUTION: take the exit road from Sarria crossing the bridge/river; it is well paved. The GPS may send you along another dirt road that eventually has no-entry signs. We encountered two other caravans in the same situation. Excellent parking area, many spaces, slightly uneven but paved. Many routes, picnic tables, and very quiet for sleeping.

Quite level spaces. Perfect for starting walks or disconnecting from the world. In winter, it is a starting point for hunters, and today, for example, shots could be heard very close by.

Spent a very quiet night here. The walks are very good and we also did some cycling. The scenery is beautiful.

The Basque Country is another world; they do things very well here. The area is extremely quiet and free, with very clean toilets open only during the day. Ideal for hiking routes. Spectacular in autumn.

Perfect place to spend the night.

A very good overnight stop with facilities in an idyllic location in a nature park. Large, level area for vehicles, with toilets in very good condition, taps for washing dishes, and picnic tables. Very friendly service at the interpretation centre. The only thing missing to make it perfect is showers.

Lots of space for vehicles of all sizes, very quiet and beautiful in the forest. We did not see the services, so I am rating only the scenery and the night spent here.

Quiet place with plenty of room to manoeuvre. There are lots of trails in the natural park and many mushroom pickers early in the morning. There is a dishwashing area with warm water and toilets open during the centre’s opening hours. Many spaces are flat, sunny and do not flood. We felt safe. We will return!

Such a nice and quiet place to stay. The facilities are only open during the working hours (9.15 - 17.15). It was very crowded on a weekend mid-October but still so calm and safe at night. I’m very thankful for this spot.

Excellent place to sleep and stay for several days, surrounded by greenery. It is a parking area with no services, but there are toilets and sinks with set opening hours; we even washed the dishes. Great place for walking and relaxing. There is also a children’s play area.

A very special place because of the tranquillity. You cannot ask for more: trails, cycling routes, the ascent of Gorbea, climbing, and more. Brilliant!
