Camper parking, cash payment only

At the entrance, the manager came to tell me that the 24-hour price for a camper was 80 KM/€40. When I asked to leave, he asked how long the camper was (6.5 m) and said he could charge me 40 KM/€20, but only in cash and local currency, not euros. There is a currency exchange office in the shopping center opposite the parking lot, or at the adjacent bar I paid by card 40 KM and they gave me the cash.

You can only pay cash here; card payments are only for cars. You pay €3 per hour, and even 10 minutes means paying for a full hour. The city center is still at least a 35-minute walk away.

Saturday, April 12: almost full; motorhome spaces occupied by parked cars, but no problem, our camper is only 5 m. Traffic wardens present. Toilet in the shopping center. We stayed one night, totally fine. Almost empty on Sunday; shopping center closed. The machine accepts cards but only offers an hourly rate; the 24-hour rate is cash only at the kiosk. We gave him €20 and received 2.5 KM change. Path into the city center along the river. It was fine for us.

It is a safe parking spot with special spaces for campers. Nowadays it costs 6 BAM (€3) per hour, so it is a bit pricey compared with the others, but it is good for walking into town. I would not sleep here, but it is perfectly fine for visiting the city.

They only accept cash. As always, this country is getting rich at our expense; otherwise they threaten to keep your camper.

Great place to park and visit the city. The daily rate is 35 KM or 6 KM per hour. As previously mentioned, there are some spaces reserved for motorhomes.

In front of the shopping center and within walking distance of the city center. Three euros per hour, but it only accepts paper euros. There is more space for motorhomes. It is crowded and traffic is heavy in this area on weekends. We did not sleep there, just spent the day.

Meanwhile, 6 KM/hour for a campervan. But it is a good parking lot with, indeed, large spaces reserved for campers. Last time I paid at the machine; this time a man, perhaps a security guard, came to me and said I had to pay him because there is a different rate for campers. Twenty minutes’ walk to the old town. Perfect place for me.

July 21, 2024. Secure parking with cameras, fencing, and a guard. Twenty minutes from the old town. €8 for seven hours of parking today.

Indeed, a parking lot with spaces reserved for campers right in the center. There may be slightly cheaper options nearby, but at least here there are large spaces reserved for campers. Yes, you pay for it, but you get what you pay for.

Upon arrival, the guard wanted to charge us 50 marks; after negotiating, we got it down to 40. When leaving the next day, we paid 35. Flat parking lot, very busy during the day but quiet at night.

I do not understand the bad reviews. You park very centrally here, and as in any other large city, it is not really cheap. With a van I paid 4 BAM per hour and could visit the city in peace. The van is also safe here. I stayed overnight and had a surprisingly quiet night despite the nearby road. Even the spaces not explicitly marked for motorhomes are large enough.
