Quiet riverside site, coin services

It was a special situation because there was a festival in town. The rear area is nice for motorhomes and the pitches are large, but they fill up quickly. In the middle area there are larger car parking spaces, suitable for motorhome plus car. In the street area, only cars are allowed, at least that is how we understood the signs. Because of the festival, every gap was filled with cars, some of which left noisily late at night.

Stayed one night, large spaces and very beautiful surroundings. A 10-minute walk to the incredibly beautiful town. Not many tourists and a wide selection of cafés and restaurants, beautiful buildings and parks, and all the storks with their nests! Would gladly return!

Unfortunately, you cannot add a comment without a star rating. The site is certainly fine, but unfortunately we could not find a pitch because some visitors confuse this place with a campsite and occupy two—in one case even three—spaces by parking across them or fully extending their awnings. It would be good if the city stopped this.

The location is excellent, close to the center, with free disposal of gray and black water. However, the grass really needed mowing.

Thanks to the city for this motorhome site. The parking bays could be a little longer for motorhomes. The site is full, also because at least four vehicles are parked across the spaces, taking up room for at least 15 motorhomes. The municipal enforcement office should intervene!

A very, very beautiful site with a small grassy area and a swimming spot by the river. More suitable for vehicles up to 7 m. The wonderful town of Dinkelsbühl is within easy walking distance. Thanks to the municipality for this clean, beautiful site!

Very good overnight site, many thanks to the city of Dinkelsbühl. But here too there are inconsiderate users who occupy three spaces with their vehicle. Very unfortunate!

5 minutes’ walk into the village. Good services, but there is no toilet as stated. Pleasant village with many bars and cafés.

Many thanks to the city administration. Two excellent motorhome sites with waste and water facilities. The whole concept for visiting the town is great. Seating areas everywhere for relaxing. A large number of toilets, all open and very clean.

Nice motorhome site close to the old town. A few large spaces, but they are occupied by a couple of small campers. We eventually found a spot where we stick out by about a meter. Water, electricity and disposal point all available!

Actually a wonderful, inexpensive motorhome site, but the toilet disposal and fresh-water supply are currently out of order. There are several very clean public toilets in town; the nearest is at Spitalhof, about a 7–10 minute walk near Rothenburg Gate. The town is well worth seeing and well maintained. Guided town tour daily at 11 a.m., starting at the tourist information office near the minster.

There was still no water. We did not stay overnight.

I came here to exchange my aluminum gas bottle! A great idea, and I have never seen it elsewhere—and aluminum, too! Otherwise, the site is large with enough space, at least in winter. It is very easy to walk the dog here, and the old town is very close. In short, highly recommended!

During our stay from January 24–27, 2026, there was no fresh-water supply. Emptying the toilet cassette was only possible to a limited extent because the liquid leaked back out of the column onto the ground. The gas machine was defective because it requires an internet connection to operate. Bavaria Wi-Fi was a catastrophe and there was no Vodafone network. Winter maintenance was catastrophic. Not recommended in winter.

A very good motorhome site. We even found a place for our motor coach with trailer, 14 m long in total. €8 for this site is more than reasonable. The old town is only a few minutes’ walk away. Really excellent!

Great motorhome site near the old town. Chocks are needed. A small park beside the Wörnitz offers places to sit and relax. Ideal with a dog. €8 for 24 hours, payable at the machine. Electricity payable at the post with coins. Fresh water: 100 liters for €1. Wastewater and toilet emptying are free. A 24/7 gas-cylinder purchase or exchange terminal is available.

Thank you, Dinkelsbühl, for this great site. Waste and water facilities excellent, proximity to the beautiful old town—5 minutes on foot—excellent, and the small landscaped riverside park excellent. Great value for money. Gas bottles can be exchanged at the machine, unfortunately not Campingaz. Only the waste disposal area could be larger. We had a quiet night and will definitely return sometime.

Excellent motorhome parking near the historic center. The campers are parked somewhat wildly and disorderly, but there is always a solution. Payment for electricity by coins, parking by cash or debit card. Clean disposal area. I recommend it.
