9 Camino Verdinal San Juan, 46390, San Juan
Been here?
This very quiet picnic area is surrounded by pine trees and vineyards, with four concrete tables, a built-in barbecue, shade and a playground. It offers peaceful overnight stops, although farm traffic may pass during the day and there are no rubbish bins on site. Low branches make access difficult for taller vehicles: a 2.95m vehicle could not park beneath the trees, while a 2.60m van fitted at the far end.

Very quiet stop, but we could not find anywhere under the trees to park our 2.95 m vehicle, so we had to move on because we really needed shade.
Superb spot in a quiet little village. Very peaceful night. However, it is not easy for vehicles over 2 metres high because the trees are very low. With our 2.60-metre-high van, we managed to park under the trees at the end of the picnic area.
A perfect place for a picnic or overnight stay. Beautifully half-shaded.
Stayed one night in a beautiful, tranquil location with long views over vineyards. Very small village, with little there. We found a great flat spot at the far end of the trees next to the road leading to the cemetery. Quite a lot of farm traffic, but it quietened down around 8 p.m.
Quiet place, we were alone, surrounded by vineyards. There are benches and a playground. Good area to rest and continue the journey.
Very good spot. Peaceful night. No rubbish bins on site, but there were some nearby by the tennis court below.
Very good area, quiet, shaded and with a picnic area. Views over the vineyard.
We stayed overnight while travelling south, escaping the heat in the lower areas. Very close to the motorway. We have a 7-metre-long, 3-metre-high motorhome and, with care and arriving during the day, we were able to spend the night here. The place is very quiet, and the neighbours passing through are very friendly. From 5 a.m., tractors began passing because it was grape-harvesting season. Let’s keep the place clean.
Excellent place, no services but shaded.
Pleasant, quiet place. Slept wonderfully. I had to manoeuvre several times to get level and caught some branches. Oops. I do not recommend arriving in the dark. Google Maps did not take me to the place shown in the photo, but somewhere before it, by the football field. Drive a little further!
We did not find the place in the photo because it was nighttime, but just before arriving there is parking in a wooded area near the children’s area. The branches are not very high, but most are thin.
Very good place. We slept with a roof tent. Some trees are low.
Very good place for one night while travelling on the A3. Quiet, fairly level, shaded by pine trees and next to a beautiful vineyard. Good café at the motorway service station.
Spent a quiet night by the road.
Good place to spend the night, free on weekends.
