Since the only other options on site are a huge paid parking lot and another one where parking is prohibited at night, this is a last resort for one night if you want to start hiking from Vassbygdi toward Berdalen or Osterbo by bus in the morning. Since it is right beside the road, traffic can also be expected at night, but the noise was manageable.
