Beautiful spot!! The lake was still partly frozen and there’s still snow on the mountains. There’s no facilities, but you’ve access to the lake! It’s near a hike starting point, I recommend you walk to the lake. It’s about a 1 hour hike. Be aware this hike doesn’t know an end point so it’s up to you how far you go. It’s well marked with red signs. The goat cheese farm is closed till summer.

Breathtaking spot. The highlight of our trip. We stayed there five days ago. There was still snow, and the lake was mostly covered with thick ice floes. An absolutely quiet and beautiful place. To get there, we had to drive over a rather unstable-looking bridge. It worked well with our small 5.90 m motorhome.✦Translating

Excellent spot for one vehicle. We spent a pleasant night there with a view of the water, waterfall, and mountains. The next morning we went to GEITOST to buy typical brown cheese.✦Translating
