This is a gravel car park among the many parking areas of the Plötschenpass. It can be used overnight, but the nearby road is busy even at night. Mosquitoes and flying ants may be a nuisance.

We couldn't find a place to sleep nearby, so this was a nice improvisation. We were alone; the next day people used it for breaks or parking for a walk. Busy road, even at night, but if you can sleep anywhere, it is not a problem. Just watch out for mosquitoes and flying ants.
