Hebewerkstrasse 70A i, 16248, Niederfinow
Been here?
A large parking area beside the old ship lift, providing a convenient base for visiting the attraction and nearby restaurants. It costs 20 Euro and includes showers, toilets, fresh water and cassette disposal, but no electricity. The site is generally quiet, and the surrounding area is suitable for walking and cycling; closing times apply in January-February.

A good, large parking area for visiting the interesting ship lift. Everything except electricity is available; the toilet and shower are modern and clean and included in the €20 price. Restaurants are nearby too, so it is perfectly fine for one or two nights.
We arrived at 4 p.m. and paid €20. The parking attendant gave us a parking card including two showers, toilet emptying, and fresh-water filling. At around 9 p.m. there were four motorhomes on the site, which was as large as a football field. Then, amazingly, a motorhome arrived and actually parked just three metres behind us. Thanks for the consideration.
€20 for a parking space is outrageous. We had just paid the same amount for a motorhome pitch with services, showers, and tourist tax right by the Baltic Sea.
Well located directly by the ship lift. But €20 for one night without electricity, water, or disposal is too expensive.
Nowadays far too expensive for no services.
We were there yesterday only as day visitors to explore the ship lift. Motorhome spaces are marked and sufficient. They were converted from former car spaces, which may make access somewhat difficult for longer vehicles. At €20 per night it is quite expensive. As a day visitor, the parking fee is €4.
Car park with spaces for campers. Really helpful staff, thank you very much! Showers, black-water disposal, and fresh water are accessed by card issued by the staff. Each use costs €2 for eight minutes; the card is included and the value is virtual only. Grey water cannot be emptied. A jug is needed for fresh water. In summary: a car park with a growing range of services for motorhomes. We felt comfortable.
€20 is a little too much. The site is okay. The site manager is very nice. Please note: the restaurant at the entrance accepts cash only and there is no ATM.
We were welcomed very warmly. The showers are clean. Everything was as described. Good starting point for bike tours. The old and new ship lifts are absolutely worth seeing. Good value for money.
Very nice parking attendant; we paid €20 for one night including showers. The toilet costs €0.50, and unfortunately there is no sink. Quiet site with a view of the ship lift.
Good motorhome area for visiting the surroundings. Interesting visit to the lifts. Very quiet.
A very good starting point for visiting the ship lift, and dogs can also be walked well here. The site managers are extremely friendly! €20 for a parking space without electricity is quite expensive. We will still return. We liked the whole setting very much, and the food at the restaurant at the entrance is highly recommended.
I find €20 too expensive. At least the duration is unlimited. Chemical-toilet emptying and showers are included, but there is no way to fill up with drinking water. There is no electricity for people who need it. The site manager is very nice, though.
The site is nice. However, at €20 the price is a little high. Two showers and toilet emptying are included, but the toilet itself costs €0.50.
A pleasant place to visit the ship lift, take a lock cruise, and enjoy a nice bike ride. We spent two nights here and felt very comfortable. Best wishes to the friendly site manager.
We stayed one night. The price increase from €5 to €20 is unjustified. No electricity, and using the toilet costs extra. Pure rip-off. We will not return.
Very pleasant motorhome site, a quiet night beside a great attraction. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the WSA information centre is even open until 6 p.m. The tourist information office with postcards is open daily until 4 p.m. Fair price of €20 per night, including two eight-minute showers, toilet use, and water supply and disposal. We felt safe! Guided tours and boat trips are worthwhile during the day. We would gladly return.
Very quiet motorhome site directly by the ship lift. The site manager is very friendly and uncomplicated. €20 per night for two people. Included are water supply and disposal and a shower card for two four-minute showers. The toilet can be used free of charge during opening hours. No electricity posts. Otherwise, a well-maintained site with plenty of spaces. Dining options are available.
Very pleasant car park. Lots of spaces. Quiet and peaceful. We arrived in the evening at around 8 p.m.; the barrier was open. We stayed until morning and then paid €15 to the very kind parking attendant. We could have stayed during the day too, as we had time to visit the lock.
A very good starting point for visiting the ship lift, which is definitely worth seeing. We arrived in the evening, paid €15, and spent a quiet night. We knew we would be self-sufficient here and appreciated this kind offer. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly.
Very nice place—yes, a little expensive at €15, but it is quiet and safe.
