Marsh parking, flamingo sightings

No restrictive parking signs, unlike the car park very close to the beach. The marshes, pink flamingos, smell of the sea, sunset and sunrise... no mosquitoes at this time of year—what more could you ask for? Let’s preserve this beautiful nature.

The place is truly exceptional; there are several areas where you can park. There are no signs prohibiting overnight stays.

TOP! We felt very comfortable. Right in the middle of nature! There is room for up to four motorhomes.

Theoretically a beautiful place, but I simply felt a little exposed here. Since there is otherwise no overnight accommodation here, I thought it would be okay for one night.

Very beautiful place surrounded by the sea on all four sides. In the evening there is a fantastic sunset, and in the morning a beautiful sunrise with flamingos right outside the door. There are rubbish containers toward the beach, 400 metres away, where you can swim very well. Please be absolutely sure that overnight stays are permitted here; at the beach 400 metres away, fines of €135 are issued in the morning and evening for staying overnight. That is why this is a phenomenal alternative to the beach itself.

Great spot for one or two campers. Many also stayed at the beach in front during the low season. A little windy, but very quiet. The view is of industry in the distance, but there are flamingos right outside the door.

Beautiful place with a great view. It was very windy in the evening. During the night and in the morning it was windless.

Dreamlike!! Many spots and niches where you can stay alone. The flamingos are wonderful and the sunset fantastic! We spent one night there at the beginning of April—it was very windy. Access via Arles or by ferry across the Rhône, 2 minutes, €10 per camper. Waste collection point at the beach ahead, 700 metres away, where camping is prohibited.

Perfect spot for sunsets with a 12km, white sandy beach 500m away. And,, despite the gendarmerie patrolling the car park at the beach 500 yds away in the early evening and moving camper vans off the main car park, the drove past, looked over and the drive on saying nothing about this being a prohibited spot. This was in early Feb, so no idea what would happen in higher season, but no issues for me. Only left as I’d run out of water after four days at a couple of spots on this road.

Beautiful place for one night. It is worth coming just for the picturesque sunset. You can also observe the flamingos very well here. The road is busy during the day and in the morning, but quiet at night. The police drove past us and said nothing while we were staying here. There are large rubbish bins at the beach.

We were able to observe the pink flamingos. We did not stay.
