Unnamed Road, 842 91, Djursvallen
Been here?
A simple, spacious and sheltered wilderness place beside a dam and lake, with little traffic and a small, stony swimming area. Fishing is possible, and the dam can be heard rushing in the background without disturbing the quiet setting. Mosquitoes and flies can be worse in the evening, while anglers occasionally visit the dam.

Swimming is unfortunately not or hardly possible because there is quite a strong current. We fished there but unfortunately caught nothing :(
Great place, hardly any traffic. Swimming possible, excellent fishing. We stayed there all day without mosquitoes.
As usual, there are mosquitoes and flies here too. But mosquito coils make it no problem. Worse in the evening than in the morning. You can hear the dam rushing, but it is not bothersome. Nicely sheltered from the wind, with plenty of space. Anglers occasionally come to the dam. The swimming area is small but usable; it is rocky. Access is via 10 km of gravel road.
Very beautiful place. Mosquitoes were easily driven away with a small fire. We spent a quiet night; you can hear the dam faintly in the background. Otherwise, pure nature.
Absolutely recommended. Very quiet, hardly any traffic. Swimming possible, dog walking possible, and a great view. We stayed for two nights and even saw a moose at the lake. Excellent.
