A shaded grassy car park beside a pond, suitable for a picnic, stopover or overnight stay. The nearby road has little traffic and is hardly disturbing, including at night. There is a picnic table, a rubbish bin, good network coverage and a pleasant view of the pond. No other services are available.

A good spot for a picnic, with grass and a table offering an unbeatable view of the pond. The road is nearby, but there is not much traffic.
Be careful, the road down here is pretty steep so it can be tricky pulling out onto the road. We chose not to camp here because it’s at the base of the dam and there were some piles of gravel around so it seemed like work is being done. I’d suggest you keep going one minute up the road to the free parking area by the fishing pond instead.

We parked below the road, on the grass, in the shade. Picnic table and trash bin. Nice pond; the dog went swimming in it. Dog can run free without risk. The parking area before the lake is nicely shaded. We saw no prohibition on camping or motorhomes.
