Strada Provinciale 1, 98030, Malvagna
Been here?
This is a very isolated riverside spot with views of Etna and Vulcaneto, beside a disused railway track. The final approach follows an unpaved path for about 800m and is accessible only to vans, with little room to turn. The site is near a wastewater treatment plant, and the river water is contaminated by its discharges. Do not park in the turning area.

Beautiful place. The road to get there is slightly too narrow with bushes that may scratch your van. Easy access to the river.
Nice place with beautiful view of Etna. I recommend to stop ať the wastewater purification plant, then walk to check if the place is free. In case it is already occupied, there is no possibility to turn.
6m length and 3.05m height - you will catch some scratches from the trees. you should be able to reverse well, very little room to turn.
Lovely view of Etna, lots of greenery, and a beautiful river. Very isolated. Information for parents of young children: the river is not fully visible from the parking area, so you cannot supervise the children while staying by the camper.Translating
The road is fairly easy to follow in spring, there's only one thing to be careful about: make sure that your GPS thingy is not sending you over the rail tracks, because that's impossible. Overall, a great small location for one, maybe two at most campervans if they know each other. The river was great and the view also beautiful. Some barking dogs in the distance, but that's normal around fields
Beautiful view of Etna. The GPS did indeed take us to the same place, just on the other side of the disused railway line. It is also beautiful on a flat grassy area among the gardens. The sound of the stream is less noticeable in this season.Translating
