Strada Provinciale 19, 52046, Lucignano
Been here?
Free municipal motorhome area on grass just below Lucignano's medieval walls, an easy few-minutes walk into the village. Water, grey/black water dump and electricity (limited sockets) are provided free by the commune, plus bins and occasional wifi. Ground turns muddy in rain and pitches are somewhat uneven; quiet at night but road noise nearby during the day. Fills up during the Maggiolata festival. A dixi toilet was present in early July 2026.

At the beginning of July, a fairly clean portable toilet had been installed. Top spot and lovely place.
Everything is provided: water, electricity, and services. Right next to the olive trees. Thank you to the municipality. The place is very quiet at night and can only be recommended.
Practical motorhome pitch below Lucignano. Some spaces have electricity. We were happy to stay here.
Credit to the municipality. A truly excellent area to spend a quiet night and visit the small but charming village... thank you.
It gets very full for the Maggiolata, but it serves its purpose well. Very close to the center.
Free area with electricity, very quiet. Close to the village for sightseeing. The only drawback is that the waste-disposal area is somewhat neglected. Restaurants for dinner and bars for having spritzes. Thanks to the village for this lovely area.
Super quiet place with a beautiful view. Lovely little village. Thank you to the municipality for making this place free, with all services including electricity.
Excellent place! Right at the foot of the village: a very pretty medieval village. On the site, water and electricity (limited number of outlets) are provided free of charge, along with a few Wi-Fi terminals and bins.
Thanks to the municipal administration! We were very comfortable, and instead of paying for the parking, we spent the money at the restaurant in the splendid village right behind us. We ate very well!
Municipal motorhome area with free waste facilities and electrical hookups. The grassy surface is certainly more pleasant than asphalt, but it causes problems in rainy weather. The village is a few hundred meters away.
Fantastic place to stay. Thirty minutes from Arezzo and near a beautiful village.
We stopped today for a few hours to break up a journey. Nice place with electricity and water and waste facilities. The village is a little gem that you absolutely must see. Thanks to the municipality for this lovely discovery.
Thanks to the administration for setting up this area—convenient, welcoming, and close to the village. Level pitches with a beautiful view. All services are available, including rubbish bins.
Poor pitches but amazing village.
Excellent base for visiting the charming little village, or for a convenient stopover when passing through on a long journey. Electricity is available free of charge.
Convenient for sightseeing. A little noisy because the road passes 2–3 meters above, but there is little traffic. In summer, note that there is no shade. Few 220V outlets for the potential spaces: bring a double blue CEE adapter.
Beautiful grassy, level parking area with a lovely view of the medieval village, just a few minutes' walk away... superb.
We just could be more surprised by the beauty of this place. And very grateful for Lucignano authorities for allowing us to stay in this amazing city with all-you-need from Tuscany.
Free park up on grass. some flat parts. few minutes walk into village. has electric water and drop offs, around this area is uneven and muddy. quite at night. busy enough road during the day. Take wide turn at the Entrance when coming down the hill.
Large parking area for campers of all sizes, lit and safe, with bins and all services working, including electricity. Be careful when entering: make the turn as wide as possible when leaving the road.
Beautiful grassy motorhome area with water and waste facilities and electrical hookups. Everything is completely free. At the foot of the beautiful village of Lucignano. An excellent alternative for an overnight stay, given its short distance from the motorway, to staying in Orvieto. Highly recommended.
I confirm what has already been said: the municipality should put gravel over the entire parking area, otherwise someone arriving at night may get stuck and risk being unable to escape the mud, naturally when it rains. For the rest, nothing to complain about—actually, there is one thing to add: the Wi-Fi requires a computer engineer to configure the connection.
Large parking area; thanks to the municipality for the equipped area. There is even Wi-Fi and electricity. Yes, a bit of mud at the back of the parking area if it rains. Recommended as a base and for visiting the village.
Warning: this motorhome area is a mud trap!!!!! Even without rain!!!! A little dew is enough to sink!!!!! You can only get out with a 4x4, tow truck, or tractor to pull you out!!!!! The municipality could have solved the problem simply by spreading two truckloads of stabilized gravel. Steep, uneven entrance with no merge lanes.
Very good for visiting this beautiful spiral-shaped village; quiet place and good cured meats.
Lovely quiet place with waste facilities. Somewhat uneven in places, but that didn't bother us.
Large area, close to the village. When it rains: mud, mud, mud!!!!
Area very close to the center, with free waste facilities and electricity (the power went out several times in the evening). Unfortunately very neglected; a little leveled gravel would be enough to make it perfect... Very pleasant and affordable location.
Did an overnight stop here and thought it was good. We arrived late and got a non-electric spot very easily. Walked up to visit the centre - beautiful buildings. The services are okay - the lid for the black waste was heavy but fine. Many thanks to the municipality for making this available.
Large grassy area used as a motorhome stop, lit and with free electrical outlets, like everything else. Too bad that when it rains, the mud makes staying uncomfortable, especially using the water and waste facilities. Recycling bins are provided; however, as usual, some boorish person doesn't sort their rubbish. The village is easily reachable on foot and is certainly worth the stop. Thanks to the municipality.
Thanks to the municipality for making this motorhome area available, including electricity, at the foot of the village, free of charge and quiet.
Sunday night, October 19. Quiet at night, noisy during the day (road nearby). Surface half grass, half gravel. Spaces are not marked. Water and waste disposal facilities (the equipment could use refurbishment). Free electricity may be available if an outlet is free. Very close to the lovely medieval village, which is worth visiting. Since the area is free, support the local businesses. Thank you to the municipality.
We have saved this place among our all-time favorites. Incredibly beautiful here. Yes, the water and waste facilities could be better, but who doesn't carry disinfectant on board? Thanks to the municipality!!!
Excellent, large space for many campers, parking on grass, mostly level. Free electricity, water, and waste facilities. The little village is a few hundred meters away and very charming. I was very satisfied.
There is nothing to add to what Nightflight said. Perfect here, thank you very much.
A wonderful place. Free, with electricity, and a five-minute walk from the magnificent village. Thanks to the municipality.
We’ve stayed in about 100 P4N spots in the last year and this is really excellent. Flat spots, free electricity, just a few minutes walk up through an olive grove to the historic town. Superb. Free. Thank you Lucignano
Nice, but there are better ones. Too close to the road, waste facilities need improvement, neglected and noisy. There is also little internet and mobile signal, so it is difficult to work. The village is beautiful to see, but one day is enough because staying in this area is unpleasant. The comments made it sound perfect, but it is ideal only if you're used to campsites with all the motorhomes packed together...
Excellent area! All services are free! At the foot of the old town, with a great family restaurant offering good value about 300 m to the right on the main road! The old town is very pretty, and there is an artisanal laundrette run by a lovely French-speaking woman! The grey-water disposal area needs refurbishment because the concrete slab is slightly broken!
