Shaded gravel spot, hornets reported

Warning: we arrived at this spot a few minutes ago, at 12:30 a.m. on the night of 14 July 2026. Several vehicles were already there. As soon as we arrived, our vehicle was attacked by several Asian hornets, so we immediately left for another place. Be careful; there are most likely one or more nests in the trees!✦Translating

Very good, clean and quiet... however, the road took some time, lol. There are large potholes and stones, but we still managed it with a Ford Focus.✦Translating

Very quiet evening and night; woke up to a superb view, birds and nature... then at 8 a.m. numerous hunters arrived with groups of dogs and bells, shooting in every direction, plus a very noisy motocross track. We left for our safety because of the gunfire. P.S. public holiday Tuesday.✦Translating

There are hornets, but they are peaceful. Much better than ground wasps or bees. ;) The place is very beautiful, sheltered and quiet. However, if rain is expected, as it was for us, I would be a little cautious about driving down. We will see tomorrow whether we can still get out with our front-wheel-drive Fiat Ducato 2.5-litre motorhome. I like this place better than the last one where everyone goes. :)✦Translating

Quiet spot just beneath the oak tree—only two hornets in a few hours and very slight buzzing from the electrical cables. Bring all necessary equipment because there are no amenities on site.✦Translating

AVOID—INFESTED WITH HORNETS! Very popular spot. We spent the night with four vehicles, but had no choice because all the spots along the road were already occupied.✦Translating

Quiet and peaceful place, shaded and very pretty! A nice flat area for a quiet night in a van with three children. No access problems for a van; you simply have to drive very slowly. The only drawback was a hornet visiting in the morning and evening, probably from the nearby listed site with a hornet nest, but that is nature!✦Translating

Incredible spot in the middle of nature with several places to park along the track, but we were bothered far too much by horseflies! It was impossible to stay outside. The access track is stony, but easily manageable if you drive slowly.✦Translating

Great place in the middle of nature; we came back for two evenings in a row! There are often other vans nearby because there are several nice spots, but this one remains the best because it is shaded on hot nights. We did not experience any unpleasant smells as mentioned in other comments. The access track is bumpy but passable. I highly recommend this place.✦Translating

A quiet and beautiful place in itself. It provides plenty of shade, so you can sleep late even on hot summer days. Unfortunately, it was a little too noisy for us, with lots of animal sounds and road noise.✦Translating
