Strada Statale 40, 39020, Spondinig
Been here?
A level parking area at Spondinig train station, useful for a one-night stop and as a starting point for bike tours. The road is very close and recent reports describe noise throughout the night, with traffic starting early. Spaces suit cars better than very long vehicles, and no reliable services are currently confirmed.

Unfortunately, very noisy all night because of the road. On the other hand, the ground is level and, along this route, it is the only option if you need a break at night. No-entry signs everywhere.
Parking spaces for cars, not for very long vehicles. The water fountain is very useful.
Good for spending one night if you are passing through. The road is very close and traffic starts early in the morning. No services.
Yes, it is noisy from around 6–7 a.m., but it should be manageable for one night. We had to stay here even for one night, and it was fine.
Spent the night well and without problems. There is plenty of space. The fresh-water supply is out of order (April 2025). The men's toilet is clean, but would be happy to see some cleaning supplies; one can thank it for allowing the overnight stay that way ;). No trains at night.
Noise from the highway and train is loud but otherwise nice spot to park for the night.
Free, flat, and lightly used parking lot. We used a space at the very back of the parking lot, beyond the bicycle-rental shop. The only drawback is the noise from the trains and highway, but it did not prevent us from sleeping. There is a small bin.
I spent one night here as a starting point for a mountain hike in Sulden. Incidentally, you can get directly to Sulden by bus from here. It takes just as long as by motorhome. Unfortunately, I realized that too late. The place is simply a parking lot. Yes, you can hear the road and the train, up to about 8 p.m. But it is fine for one night, especially since there are no alternatives.
We had a quiet night. Two other campers were also in the parking lot with us. Good starting point for the Stelvio Pass.
If you sleep very soundly, everything is fine; otherwise, move on. A bordering road worthy of a motorway. Infernal. Too bad, because the site is very pleasant.
Quiet; you can spend the night without any problem. There are usually other motorhomes. Five minutes away on foot there are some lovely lakes. The only issue is that trains pass, but approximately from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. there are none.
Good, fairly quiet parking despite the railway. There is a drinking fountain and a bar with a toilet inside.
Nice park-up. Water available. Quiet night.
Completely fine for one night in a motorhome; we slept well. Another motorhome was also in the parking lot. We were woken by construction work in the morning, but that is certainly temporary. Otherwise, it was quite quiet, and right next door you can take a lovely walk with the dog past ponds.
Flat place, with some noise but very manageable! Definitely recommended for one night!
We were late. Everything was fine for one night.
Enough space for spending the night.
Ideal place to spend the night. Again and again.
