Forest parking, paid overnight

Wonderful, peaceful, secluded place, lots of space, close to the sea.✦Translating

Unfortunately, especially at weekends, it has developed into makeshift camping. The forest is being used as a toilet. It is a shame that Park4Night users no longer follow the rules of decent behaviour. There is a campsite a few kilometres farther on. Next year there will certainly be a barrier and no parking.✦Translating

Hell, and an example of why more and more bans are being introduced. I wanted to see the ruins, but the place was overcrowded, with surely 30 camper vans. Some were so brazenly parked sideways with awnings out that they blocked three spaces. On the way to the beach there was toilet paper everywhere, brown with excrement. No wonder people point at camper vans nowadays. BEHAVE YOURSELVES!✦Translating

The operator, Iven Behrenwolt, has cleverly structured the tariff. The price is initially shocking, but we appreciated this refuge on Prora's idyllic beach and beside the historic setting of its “Colossus.” Coming from the North Cape, we stayed longer than planned to ease back into civilization. The only service is rubbish disposal, but the grounds are well maintained. We would gladly return anytime.✦Translating

Quiet place in the forest, directly beside the ruins. Unfortunately, at €20—with a very poor access road and nothing else except an unlit car park—it is very expensive.✦Translating

It is a shame that this place is so expensive; it definitely has more potential. Car park in the forest, access road somewhat adventurous. Beach and ruins nearby. Nevertheless, we do not support charging €20 for 12 hours.✦Translating
