Lakeside parking, height barrier

Perfect for £10, just us and a lakeside to enjoy!

Really nice stopover, paid £10 and was worth it ,lovely view of the lake and nice and quiet. will use again.

Really lovely spot; in February there was only us. We arrived quite late, but the next morning we had the pleasure of waking up facing a pond.

nice parkup, £10 for 24 hrs, there is a height barrier, not sure of height but t5 with poptop was no problem. cafe's within walking distance, quiet night with only occasional road noise

Stayed here for £10 for 24h. We were the only ones there! Super quiet and peaceful. Absolutely beautiful views, it was lovely opening the back doors to see the lake.

We stayed here for 1 night, parked backed up to the lake, was beautiful. £10 for 24hour parking, was so peaceful, we were the only people there. slept for 11 hours, no noise. perfect!

Lovely little place would definitely go back again

Not accessible for campers or vans. There is a barrier that campers cannot fit under. Vehicles up to 2 meters can get through.

Lovely and quiet, parked right next to the lake. £10.50 for 24 hours which is pretty reasonable. No facilities but it’s a good spot.

Very peaceful night. Distant road noise. Few other cars and some dog walkers. Great views.

Yes there is a height restriction but managed to fit in my l1 Peugeot boxer, lovely quiet place with a great view of the lake

Lovely spot buy the lake no facilities but perfect for what it is pity there aren't more places like this in the UK as they are everywhere abroad

Fantastic spot! Spent the night here in our T5. Had the carpark to ourselves for the night. Directly over the road is a lakeside Bar and Restaurant where we watched the wakeboarders blasting past while we ate our steaks. There are toilets and showers there for the wakeboarders too, it's possible they'd let campers use it if buying a drink or something.

Fab little car park with a great view and walks around the lake. We arrived quite late in the evening and paid for 24 hours. There is also a lovely little cafe 3 mins walk away where we had a nice breakfast before leaving. Would recommend!

Nice quiet spot. Only one other van. Minimal road noise. Lovely view in the morning and sound of wild birds. Two bins and a walking route on site.

Nice spot over looking one of the lakes. The road running parallel was a bit noisy. The trees sheltered our rooftop tent despite moderate winds.

£5 for the night in our VW pop top. Lovely spot with views across the lake, little noisy with the road but didn’t bother us. Will definitely be back! Would recommend

Height barrier in place across the entrance. We’re 2.3m high and couldn’t fit! Looks lovely though
