Unnamed Road, 13113, Lamanon
Been here?
A quiet daytime parking area in the trees, reached by a tarred road followed by a dirt track. It offers several shaded locations, but the access can be rough and the nearby road remains audible. Overnight stays are formally forbidden in the regional park, and municipal police have asked visitors not to sleep there.

Discreet and not much passing traffic, although the road is very close.
Be careful: parking during the day is permitted in the Alpilles Regional Nature Park, but sleeping there is strictly prohibited. The municipal police visited us and informed us that we could not spend the night here. Otherwise, the spot is very pretty and peaceful.
In the morning, people start arriving, but it is very pleasant and quiet at night under the trees, with nearby caves and short hikes around.
Very beautiful spot in the middle of nature, very isolated. It is reached after a few minutes on a fairly rough road/track. We were alone, but there is plenty of space. Sunday morning at 8:30: gunshots, bells and barking hunting dogs somewhat spoiled the tranquillity.
Very beautiful place in the forest! Just a few joggers and mountain bikers until nightfall, then very quiet.
Really lots of shaded space, often flat. The track is rough; vans can manage it, but motorhomes would find it much more difficult, perhaps impossible, to reach some areas. It would be great without the distant motorway noise, but that probably will not bother city dwellers ;-) There are countless spots all along this track.
Beautiful and peaceful place under the trees. However, some campers before us apparently grilled and made a fire here—which is irresponsible in these temperatures and drought. Respect nature and the place, and do not cause the next forest fire!
Keep driving out of the woods and you get an incredible view across vineyards and mountains. Unreal sunset. Curvadas everywhere - unparalleled.
We stopped a little earlier because the road was not great for our small car, but the view was lovely! A few runners and quite a lot of insects, but good 4G. We were treated to peacock cries in the evening and a visit from a wild boar at 1:30 around the tent! A little stressful, but let’s say it is part of the adventure :)
