46 Chemin de Coudannes, 33290, Ludon-Médoc
Been here?
Quiet countryside parking beside a beautiful lake with blue-green water, walking trails, picnic tables and bins. The area is increasingly used by walkers, families and sportspeople, but overnight sleep has remained comfortable. A 2m sign is posted at the entrance, while a 2.20m barrier begins after the initial compacted-limestone spaces. The parking is on a secondary road and some spaces have no height restriction.

A 2-meter sign has been placed at the entrance. We passed easily with a 2.12-meter van. By a secondary road. Magnificent view of a pond.
A 2.20-meter barrier is AFTER the start of the parking area on compacted limestone, so some spaces have no height restriction. Very quiet during my visit.
Parking area currently being developed, with a closing barrier above 2.20 meters.
lovely spot for a lunch stop
We stayed one night and the day after to work remote. Nice place, close by there is a lovely pony club! If you need to work remote it is a bit crowded during the day and noisy in the morning due to tractors.
Very quiet spot at night, with many dog walkers during the day. Very picturesque site with lots of ducks and geese. Beware: the site is closed the weekend of June 16 because of a race.
Not great for spending the night... the road curves sharply, so constant lighting is guaranteed.
Good stopover. Easy to reach and good for walks. We spent a perfect night here, having to come here because the site in Macau was full, with only two spaces and a very steep slope.

Great place BUT loads of mosquitoes and, above all, young people driving back and forth to drink and smoke… I would avoid it!
We spent one night. People come there to walk and take their dogs out. No problems.
We arrived on Sunday evening at 8 p.m. Following the previous advice, we found this spot near the lake, which is not accessible for swimming, with the pergola visible in the last photo.
