Panoramic parking, occasional night disturbances

Quiet parking despite the stadium next door. We spent two nights here, allowing us to do several cycling loops along the Loire.

Very nice place to spend a night. Quiet and close to the site to visit and the town. Bins on site.

Very pleasant parking area with a beautiful view, close to the abbey and the center. The gendarmes came by in the evening to warn us that kids amuse themselves at night by knocking on the vehicles and throwing gravel. They asked us to provide information if it happened. Fortunately, we had no problems that night. It was nice of them to warn us.

Very peaceful night. Recommended in autumn and winter because the parking area is elevated in the town, while the lower town and the Loire riverbanks are often very foggy at that time. The panoramic view of the Loire is splendid when the fog lifts. Park near the cemetery to avoid the vehicles using the sports center.

Very large and quiet parking lot. The small building in front of the pool is a small gym, so there are cars at certain times. Choose other parts of the parking lot so as not to disturb.

We were woken at 4 a.m. by people banging on the motorhome, shouting, then walking away while throwing gravel at us and threatening to return. It is a shame to have to endure increasing antisocial behavior, which made us leave without being able to support the local businesses. Goodbye.

Very nice parking area at the village entrance, with many spaces and a magnificent view over the Loire. The park and abbey are nearby.

Toilets closed due to vandalism. Water tap with push button at the cemetery, accessed through double white doors. Beautiful place, with many walks nearby as well. The tourist office provides beautiful and interesting information about them. Very pleasant staff.

The municipality allows a few motorhomes to stay in this parking lot, just steps from the abbey, which you absolutely must visit, and from a superb view over the Loire. Some people give it one or two stars, so go elsewhere. Some people are really difficult. Thank you to this small municipality.
