They do not charge anything for staying, but it is always a good idea to buy something at the pub. Excellent 5G connection.

Great place for an overnight stay. We were there on a Tuesday and it turned out they don't serve food then. We were able to park, though, and had a delicious meal at The New Inn just down the road.

An oasis of peace after the appalling M1 and the abominable M25 orbital motorway. A warm welcome and, above all, excellent food... I have been coming to the UK for over 40 years and know what I am talking about.

A very friendly lady at the bar. Unfortunately, food is only available from Wednesday to Sunday. On Monday and Tuesday, they only serve drinks. Water for the motorhome can be taken from an outside tap. Otherwise, there is no other service.

If you don't mind the sound of the motorway 24/7, this is a great overnight spot with plenty of room for children and a great pub with excellent service and help choosing from the large selection of beers.

Great find. Lovely friendly pub with beautiful food. Quite a few MH there so best to book in advance. Near canal, good for walking and cycling.

Great stopover. Food is good wholesome home cooked. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. You are expected to dine in the pub for your stay. Easy access to The Wharf and Shardlow Marine x bus stop outside one way to Derby, other way to Leicester. Will definitely come again.

Absolutely lovely people here. They don’t do food on a Monday night so I couldn’t have a meal with them to say thank you! They still let me stay overnight though, no problem. They even let me leave the van here while I was abroad for a week. There’s a bus right outside to the airport that goes every 15 minutes during the day (but only every hour at 2am when I was returning). The goats are nice!

Not sure I want to share as it was a hidden gem. Great stop, Big carport, friendly staff, had a good band on Saturday night. No outside toilets but a great place to stop, and quiet at night. outside water tap to fill up bottles of water. Your not obliged to buy a meal or drink to stay, but that would just be rude.

Lovely place. Had a walk along the canal then back for a refreshing beer. as others have said, park down by the goats!
