Small riverside parking area suitable for one night, with natural surroundings and nearby walking trails. It is about 5 minutes from Chasseneuil-du-Poitou and convenient for visiting Futuroscope. Trains pass nearby, but recent reports found them little disturbing at night; occasional visitors may arrive late with music or phone calls. The area is not suitable for large motorhomes.

Great place to spend the night and visit Futuroscope.
At night, the trains are not very bothersome. I can't say the same about inconsiderate people who arrive by car at midnight, make phone calls and listen to music, parking right next to the van even though there is space farther away! Much more pleasant in the morning, when walkers and cyclists pass by. Bins and picnic tables on the other side of the river.
A lovely looking place. The trains are quite loud but didn’t bother us. It’s a Friday night and some people come and played music till late evening. Not good for large Motorhomes.
Bucolic spot, stream, cows and walks. But the train passes by!! What a shame!!
Very nice spot to spend the night! The place is quiet and not very busy, which makes it pleasant. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent!
Nice place to spend the night after a long drive. People may launch their boats here, which can obstruct access. Otherwise, you will have to move the motorhome. Two spaces maximum, I think. There is a small boat crossing that offers a walk along the Clain.
Wonderful spot to stop during the day. Lovely stream, very pleasant for a picnic, quiet with all its walkers. Accessible for motorhomes.
Quiet and surrounded by nature; the only downside is the mosquitoes.
Good spot with a picnic table on the other side of the river, a pleasant place. However, a message to all bivouac campers: I don't understand why you leave toilet paper lying everywhere. A reminder that these places are clean to begin with, and the worst part is that there is a bin available. This kind of behavior harms us, and bivouacking is becoming frowned upon. Thank you to all those people, even though it is so simple.
Busy little place for walkers until later and then early AM. Trains were SO loud. But a beautiful place with great walks around. I’m a heavy sleeper so didn’t bother me too much.
5 minutes from Futuroscope, a pretty river but an enormous amount of noise: planes, a major road, and a train above that runs all night. Light sleepers should avoid it!
excellent little spot. the creek is refreshing. no other cars parked overnight. little walk around the park is sweet. train didn't bother us at all.
Nice little place, despite the train right next to it waking us up several times during the night. In the morning there were quite a few walkers and fishermen. Fine for one night.
