Forest farm site, clean facilities

We spent one night here, with a view of the bison herd. The pitches are nice but very close together. The sanitary facilities are very nice and clean. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on Monday, but on Tuesday before leaving we bought some rolls, which were also very tasty!

The restaurant is great, and the bison burger is really delicious. The pitches are narrow by Swedish standards, but the infrastructure is otherwise good. We stayed for one night, which is enough.

We spent one night there! The safari was great! The restaurant is excellent, and the burgers are simply a must!!!!! We would gladly come back. The pitch is great because you can occasionally watch the animals! Since the farm is elevated, you can also see the lake.

We have now been there for the second time and would always go back. Lovely pitch with a great view and breathtaking animals. Be sure to allow time for a bison safari! Clean sanitary facilities and showers without a time limit. The food in the restaurant is also absolutely recommended!

Basically well designed. The pitches are very small and close together. That is not our thing. Down on the meadow would be fine, but there is no shower. What a shame.

We registered at the restaurant and were greeted in a friendly, helpful and pleasant manner! A beautiful facility with a magnificent view over green meadows all the way to Lake Vättern—simply fantastic! Water and waste facilities are fine and accessible to everyone. The barn, with lots of seating, and the restaurant have often been rated good to very good, and they really are great. We would come back!

Gravel pitches, very clean sanitary facilities, water and waste services working perfectly. The associated restaurant serves delicious food and has great service. The pitches are in full sun, which should be considered in hot weather. However, there is a large, beautiful barn that is great to use in hot or rainy weather. The view of the bison is wonderful, not just for children.

The bison farm is beautifully laid out and the bison burger tastes great. The sanitary facilities and restaurant are wheelchair accessible. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Waste disposal works perfectly. Unfortunately, the pitches overlooking the bison pasture and Lake Vättern are very narrow. One point deducted for the cramped camping.

Warm welcome, easy check-in with a credit card, fantastic view of Lake Vättern. Today we cooked the wonderful bison steak and it was as tender as butter. Thank you both, and continued success with your plans.

Rural camper site with a beautiful view of the lake. Lovely heated sanitary facilities. Relatively small pitches for campers, all with electricity. Possibility to service the camper. Unfortunately, the restaurant and bison safari have limited opening hours outside the season.

Exceptional place! You have a magnificent view from your camper and occasionally bison walk past. We also had a bison burger at the restaurant there. Very tasty. The sanitary facilities are also completely fine. Highly recommended for an overnight stay.

It is wonderfully beautiful, clean and idyllic. The view of the lake is unique. There are currently no more bison safaris and no quad bikes are offered. The restaurant with its delicious burgers is only open until 3 p.m. The high season is over. But that also has its advantages!

Very nice place to stay for one night. You can take a bison safari, lasting an hour and offered several times a day. You can also eat a bison burger in their restaurant. The facilities are fine and the staff friendly. Recommended!

Well-maintained site at the farm.

It couldn't be better! When we were there at the end of July, the restaurant was open and there was live music in the evening. Very clean toilets and showers.

Simply amazing. Great pitch with clean sanitary facilities. Small farm shop. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed on Sundays. Nice paths for walking, and then there are these impressive animals too. Gladly again.

Very nice, level pitch. The sanitary facilities are very clean and spacious. Absolutely dog-friendly—the dog is allowed in the farm shop and restaurant. The restaurant food is highly recommended. We were given the wrong portion, but it was corrected quickly and without any fuss. Very friendly and attentive staff. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the bison safari. However, because the pitch is directly beside the enclosure, it is easy to cope with.

Beautiful view, friendly hosts and the bisons are truly majestic to watch. The accommodations are clean and modern. Definitely recommended.

The site is nice and has a great view. The sanitary facilities were clean and fine. The restaurant staff were somewhat overwhelmed and the order was wrong.

Simple check-in via QR code. Clean sanitary building. The definite highlights are the bison pasture directly in front of the pitches, the farm shop and the bison safari. We would come again.

gravel pitches with electricity, 2x toilet, 2× showers, in peak season, you might have to wait a bit. exquisite view, right in nature. meat shop and restaurant available with an optional safari tour around the farm. closest store is a 24h app operated store, Hjo is 15 min by car, 30 by bike. so come prepared with food if you don't want to drive. Hjo is worth an afternoon visit.

Beautiful farm. The staff are nice. The food in the restaurant is delicious. There is also a good farm shop with bison products. I also enjoyed the moose safari. The pitch overlooking the lake is great and the sanitary facilities are clean.

Beautiful farm, very nice people. Large pitches with or without electricity. If it is full, there is an alternative meadow at the entrance below, without electricity. Toilets and showers are clean. The food in the restaurant is very tasty. Those who wish can book the safari and ride on a tractor across the bison field. Impressive animals! See the website.

Great pitch. Our daughter especially enjoyed watching the bison and counting the calves. The sanitary facilities are very clean. Check-in can be done on site via a QR code or in advance through the website. The bison burger in the restaurant is delicious, and we can also recommend the coffee and small cakes. We lacked nothing.

Beautiful view and very good sanitary facilities. A really lovely place. Unfortunately, we were here outside the season, but it is a fantastic place and great fun to see the bison.

Although it stated that the site was closed from November 1, we were able to stay here after a short phone call. Toilets and showers were clean and pleasantly warm. Water and waste facilities are available, probably only as long as there is no frost. We bought something at the farm shop. Nice contact and highly recommended.

Stayed overnight on 12 August 2024—everything included: water and waste services, toilet and showers. Unfortunately, we were one day too late and everything was closed.

Very cozy place. Highly recommended. I recommend stopping by the restaurant and trying the bison burger; even the dog was welcome in the restaurant and farm shop. Very nice owners. Clean and tidy service building. You can also go on a bison safari. We will come back here.

Great pitch right next to the bison. The meat from the farm shop is also delicious. One star deducted for the showers. The cleanliness was okay but could be improved, and there was no curtain even though a rod was installed, so everything gets wet. After a while the light goes out because the motion sensor is only in the anteroom.

Really good! Great forest for walking, not overcrowded, beautiful animals and an excellent restaurant with very friendly people. The toilets and showers are very modern and clean! We can only recommend it!

Nice place. But it is just one pitch right next to others. There is nothing for children. You can do little more than walk. The meat is really excellent and recommended. Otherwise, the farm is worth recommending.
