Camping de Courte Vallée is a 10-acre campsite in the River Thouet valley, within walking distance of Airvault. It has a swimming pool, bar and restaurant, but recent conditions included very noisy nights and very dirty sanitary facilities. A recent stay cost 39 euros for a motorhome with electricity, two adults and two children.

Impersonal campsite, minimal welcome, very noisy (moped at night, dog howling terribly until 3 a.m.). Very dirty sanitary facilities. €39 for a van with electricity, two adults and two children. The only positive point was the pool, which was very useful in this heat.
I found this campsite very pleasant. We were traveling by electric bicycle and staying in a tent, and paid €16 including electricity, which is attractive compared with other campsites where prices were often excessive, around €20. The campsite has small shaded areas, excellent sanitary facilities, and the pool is very good too. Nothing to complain about.
It is an English-style campsite. French is not spoken. The facilities in early May are acceptable, but €33 for a van for two people is too much! It is an oversized campsite, probably a victim of Brexit.
No shade on the pitches in the middle, few level pitches among the remaining ones, a ridiculous dump station, and a price of over €30 without an ACSI card for one van, two people and one dog, without electricity. In my opinion, it is overpriced for what is offered, so I moved on.
Excellent campsite and such a lovely welcome from owners Jane and James. Good wide pitches within lovely landscape grounds. No grey waste emptying for motorhomes but all other services on site. We will definitely return
A British owned site. Serviced pitches some Hardstrandings. Mainly British, mainly Caravans, some motorhomes. You may love it if you enjoy UK with French weather. A bit like Dordogne-shire. Bar and restaurant, swimming pool 3 campers said to me that it is expensive. 22E with ACSI more without. About a mile from town. (with hill!) Intermarche supermarket a couple of miles away.
Great site, huge serviced pitches, super clean loos and showers, loos have seats and paper and a great pool.... nice bar on site with food available, bread when baker down the road not on holiday... we’ll be back!
