19 Via di Fugnano, 53037, San Gimignano
Been here?
This is a free daytime parking area on paved roads in a small industrial zone, about 1.8km uphill from San Gimignano’s centre. It is quiet and suitable for larger motorhomes, although parking can be tight for vehicles around 7.2m or longer. The walk to town is steep, while a shuttle may also stop directly at the parking area. Trash cans are available.

Very quiet parking area, perfect for visiting San Gimignano during the day. We parked here while visiting the town. For long vehicles, it is advisable to park at the ends of the reinforced grass area to avoid completely blocking the sidewalk.
Good for parking and visiting the town. Very quiet.
I parked there during the day; it is a steep climb to reach the historic center, but easy with an electric bike. Perfect. Rodgers.
Parked here yesterday in 7.2 metre long mobile home. It’s doable but can be tight. Recommend driving around the car park before parking up as some spaces easier to get in than others.
Ideal for a stroll through the town!
actually there is no option to park with a camper in this village. at santa lucia there is a paid parking and from there you are supposed to be able to take a bus free of charge when you show the parking ticket up to the village.
We parked here safely and without problems. With vehicles larger than 6 m, it makes no sense to look for a parking space in the center. The walk is no problem; halfway there is a small supermarket. The car park is also used as a break location by scheduled buses, so there is always activity. We felt safe.
Ideal for visiting the town. I parked my 9 m motorhome in the upper section, reversing as far as possible onto the grass. A shuttle goes directly from the car park to the town center. We returned on foot in 15 minutes. I could not find where to pay for parking.
Free parking on a remote area. I succeeded in parking my 7.5 m camper. Easy access. About 20 minutes of walking from the centre on a moderate steep hill. Trash cans.
Very good motorhome stopover—we cycled up on e-bikes; it is already quite steep.
We parked here during the day to visit the town. It is about a 20-minute uphill walk, which did not bother us. The site is large and vehicles up to 8 m can stand here. We felt safe :)
Parked for 3 hour visit to the town. Police around at times. Pretty quiet, free. No problems. Up hill walk to town. Good deli on way back down.
We were visited by the municipal police, who kindly informed us that camping (tables and chairs outside) is not allowed—parking only. Perfect parking for visiting this beautiful village.
Felt sketchy as we were the only ones. Had no intention of sleeping there as theres signs not to. About 20min walk to gimigiano. All was ok when we returned after several hours. Also, our rv is 6,4m, a bit bigger would still work out well.
Perfect for visiting San Gimignano. Free parking below the village. Large spaces.
Excellent place to go out and visit beautiful San Gimignano, no services, camping is not allowed.
Perfect for sightseeing with a motorhome.
Free, relatively spacious (we were there on Easter Monday). We felt very safe. Free, and the town is 10 minutes away.
Perfect industrial-area parking for visiting the town, about a 30-minute walk, and free at the end of February. Suitable for a 7-meter motorhome.
Nice large parking area, but there is a no-camping restriction. So do not stay overnight.
The atmosphere is so-so, but from here we walked into the wonderful city center. Two other motorhomes did the same.
Very convenient for visiting the town. 8-meter motorhome. About a 30-minute walk. It is uphill.
Good place, but there are some difficulties parking a motorhome. This is just a parking lot, but at least it is free and close to the village. Buses are 50 meters away.
Free parking suitable for long motorhomes (apparently the only one in town). A little far away and below the town.
We came here to see if we could park for the night, and it explicitly showed no camping allowed, so we moved along. However, it is free parking so could be good for parking during the day!
Okay. A 20-minute walk.
Parking P6 located below the village, with large spaces ideal for parking during the day while visiting. Allow 20 minutes walking uphill to reach the village, but a town bus passes right nearby.
A fairly basic parking lot. It is a steep climb to walk to the center, but it is doable.
Good and safe place to visit the town. We stayed here for about two hours without any problems. Easy to reach and the parking spaces are large. About 25 minutes uphill on foot to the beautiful town! We did not stay overnight.
