Been here?
This is a shaded picnic area with toilets, children’s games, picnic tables, barbecues and walking trails. Recent reports say it is accessible to large vehicles, including a 19t, 12m vehicle, but most of the parking is very sloped. Low branches may be as low as 2.60m, and the area can be busier during daytime and weekends.

Very nice spot, but very—too—steep apart from the disabled parking spaces.
Accessible even for heavy goods vehicles (19 tonnes and 12 m). Nice area with children’s games, barbecue and picnic tables. Peaceful.
great walks along the river and pretty decent facilities, water works fine - as does the toilet - it’s a bit grubby but for free you can’t be picky. there’s a nice mural and sheltered bench where you can sit outside if the weather is pleasant, and there’s a great little park for children (or those of us who like swings). would definitely recommend, felt safe at night and really enjoyed our stay!
A little paradise in a quiet location. Some traffic during the day. When we arrived, a young people’s party was taking place, with noise until 12:30 a.m., but after that the night was fairly quiet. Clean self-cleaning toilet, plenty of picnic tables, water point and children’s games. This spot is well worth the visit +++.
