Daytime parking, overnight prohibited

We too received a threat of criminal prosecution. It remains to be seen whether it will be pursued, but anyone wanting to avoid this should not come here. Otherwise, a good location near the sea, pleasantly quiet with the sound of the sea in the background.

Beach parking (200 m), with quite a lot of traffic during the day but it empties quickly at the end of the day. Quiet in the evening and at night (Thursday night). A motorhome area right next door has an accessible water point. Public toilets are 150 m from the parking area, by the church. Height limited to 2 m.

A Westfalia camper van fits perfectly through the barrier. We slept here for several days without any incidents, very peacefully. However, we did not raise the roof because there was no one around.

We spent a peaceful night. No warnings or fines. There were clearly other camper vans. The gendarmerie was around and said nothing to anyone. Someone (two-legged) left us a gift of feces behind the van.

Quiet night, but there was a notice on the windshield in the morning threatening fines for all converted vehicles, despite there being no prohibition sign at the entrance to the parking lot. So we left Contis and spent our money in another village! Too bad for them!

Disregard earlier comment that there are no height restrictions. There are! 2m max. However for one night you are allowed on the road next to the big parking lot and there is a paid parking lot for 15 euro a night which only gives you electricity.. beach and forest is nice!

As the motorhome area next door was under construction, we were able to spend one night here in our motorhome and did not see any height restriction.
