Been here?
Camping Le Peyrolais is a spacious, wooded campsite beside the Ardèche, with large grassy pitches that are mostly shaded. Services include chemical disposal, water refill, electricity, Wi-Fi and a washing machine, while the restaurant serves homemade dishes. The sanitary facilities are generally clean, though some require attention, and the internet is switched off after 22. An extra Type-E plug is required for the electricity connection.

At check-in, we received a map showing the available spaces and then chose one. The pitches are spacious and mostly under trees. The electricity posts are nearby, but a Type E Schuko plug is required. It has a hole that accommodates the grounding pin of the socket.
Great, I recommend it. Excellent welcome, friendly staff, shaded pitches, next to the river—we loved it.
What a magnificent campsite, ideally located in the Ardèche! We really appreciated the space, peace and splendid surroundings. Thank you for welcoming us. If I return to the Ardèche one day, I will be delighted to stay here. Perhaps next year.
A beautiful site with many trees and shade. The mosquitoes are tolerable (May 26). Very friendly staff and fair prices. Large playground for children. The internet is switched off after 10 p.m. We did not like that, as we do not enjoy being patronized. Sanitary facilities deserve a grade of 3. Some areas had not been cleaned for a long time; there was no toilet paper or toilet seat.
Very nice, quiet place. The sanitary facilities are clean. Located directly on the river. Be careful with the electrical connection: you need an extra adapter. Highly recommended overall.
We booked for 4 nights but stayed an extra 2 (end August 2025). Lovely wooded campsite with river access. The shower block could use some attention. A well equipped playground for little children. Motorhome service area really good. Great location if you want to be in the Ardèche with easy access to gorge road but without the crowds around the Pont d'Arc.
Beautiful campsite directly on the river. Pitches are very large. Friendly staff. A Euro plug does not work. Otherwise, everything is perfect.
I typically stay at the free sites but after reading the comments, I decided to wing it and go here. I found the place really unkempt and generally not show ready. For instance, I was so looking forwards to a hot show but after pressing the button 20 times, I gave up that idea and accepted coldish/barely warm shower. I did let them know, maybe they just dont care, the high season is coming
Spacious campsite, very friendly and also dog-friendly. The sanitary facilities are clean. Immediate access to the Ardèche. We were passing through.
A campsite that truly deserves to be called a campsite! Tents, caravans and motorhomes on large shaded pitches. Clean and functional sanitary facilities. Friendly welcome. Bar and restaurant. Bread and pastries can be ordered. On the banks of the Ardèche, with the possibility of swimming.
