Calle del Corcho, 28191, La Hiruela
Been here?
A quiet parking area in the beautiful village of La Hiruela, suitable for sleeping and starting nearby walking routes. Recent changes mean vehicles over 6 metres no longer fit within the marked spaces, and the ground is slightly inclined. There are no services, while night-time traffic is minimal.

They have modified the parking lines and vehicles longer than six meters no longer fit. Slightly sloped, although there is no problem sleeping and eating. Very quiet because no cars pass at night.
There is no way motorhomes longer than six meters fit without encroaching on other spaces. The authorities told me they issue fines if the vehicle extends beyond the marked limits.
The spaces on one side of the road are more than long enough for a motorhome, although only four or five of them fit. Slightly sloped.
Parking for spending the night in the low season is not bad thanks to the silence. Small spaces for large motorhomes. We managed to fit a 7.5-meter one because there were no caravans on that side of the parking area. Somewhat uneven. The access road is too narrow for large motorhomes, and when you meet someone coming the other way you sweat a little—or at least I do, haha.
In my opinion, this is not a place for large motorhomes and campers. During periods of low occupancy, when you can choose where to park, it is different.
The spaces on the right as you come down from La Hiruela pass are longer. The access road is very narrow—take care. If it is full, which is common, about 400 meters farther down there is a good pull-off on the left.
There are long spaces for campers and vans, and shorter ones for cars. They are narrow, but you can sleep without a problem. Great for spending one night and setting out on a route in the area the next day. The ground is slightly sloped; we slept three vans and two motorhomes.
Quiet parking area even though it is beside a road. Somewhat uneven. Some smaller spaces are level. We spent a very peaceful night without noise. Ideal place for hiking routes. Very beautiful village. No services.
The parking spaces on the right side of the road, when coming from Madrid, are a little longer for larger vehicles. The parking area is quite uneven and beside the road, but the cars are not bothersome because there is hardly any traffic at night. Let’s respect the surroundings and the rules.
