Beautiful daytime parking area on a meadow beside the lake, near church ruins and a public swimming area with a jetty. It is free and suitable for a relaxed day by the water, but overnight stays and camping are prohibited. The final 1 km is on a dirt road, and the place is unsuitable for larger vehicles. A mobile toilet is available, but facilities are otherwise limited.

A beautiful swimming spot and ideal for a relaxing day by the lake. But please leave the place in the evening and do not behave as if you are camping during the day either. Otherwise, parking for motorhomes may be restricted even further. Not suitable for larger vehicles.
A dream swimming spot. I was mostly alone. The nearby church ruins have charm. Signs prohibit camping and tent camping, so I spent the night elsewhere and returned early for a swim. The portable toilet is barely acceptable for free use. Parking is also free without restrictions.
It was beautiful, and the water was quite warm.
For decades this was a popular and well-used place where people could fish, camp, and relax. Now it is fenced off and a no-camping sign has been put up. Germany is destroying itself…
The place is highly recommended. There is a separate dog beach. Very pleasant and quiet.
