A flat, spacious gravel parking area near the Dordogne, about 50m away, with walking paths and opportunities for fishing and swimming. It is generally quiet, although a nearby transformer makes noise until about 23h00 before stopping overnight. The area is away from the main road but can have mosquitoes and occasional fishermen or dog walkers. Recent information warns that overnight parking should be avoided because gendarmes enforce restrictions.

Not recommended. The gendarmerie comes by to enforce the restrictions, even though they are not clearly indicated. So avoid parking here overnight.
Flat area with plenty of space. We spent a quiet night. The Dordogne is about 50 m below.
Very pleasant and quiet place for the night. Only the transformer operates until around 11 p.m., but then it stops.

A small spot in nature. A nice little corner. Nothing supernatural, just natural. No noise, no neighbors. Well, on January 8, tourists are rare....

Quiet parking area (apart from the electrical transformer, which can no longer be heard with the doors closed), with a few cars parking to walk their dogs or go to the river, which is 300 m away. Handy for an emergency overnight stop.
The place is quiet and close to the Dordogne, ideal for swimming and fishing. Unfortunately, there had been problems the week before our visit (campfires that resulted in fines), and the hamlet residents are on alert; we were politely asked to leave or they would notify the gendarmerie. Best avoided, therefore.
Lovely quiet spot to pass the night. We arrived with our 7m30 camper without any difficulties. There’s a country lane leaving the parking ideal for walking the dogs.
