1 Rue des Halles, 17500, Fontaines-d'Ozillac
Been here?
Shared parking between the church and the halls, where overnight stays are possible. It is generally attractive, but the church bells ring frequently, marking the quarter, half-hour, three-quarter hour and hour until 23:00, then ringing again at 7:00. The halls can host evening events with music and barbecues, so noise may occur.

Thank you to the municipality for welcoming us. Lovely place, but beware: the bells ring very often. They mark the quarter, half-hour, quarter-to and hour until 11 p.m. At 7 a.m. they are very happy to wake up. Three bells ring one after another, followed by the large bell at full volume, and then the quarter-hour sequence starts again. It made us laugh, although we were a little groggy this morning.Translating
Thank you to the municipality for welcoming us. We were also lucky enough to meet the mayor, who is very friendly. Thank you to her.Translating
I have just spent one night there in a motorhome. Go slowly so you do not miss the entrance. By chance, there was a neighbors' festival under the covered market hall, with a barbecue and a musette-style DJ evening. After asking about it, I received the mayor's permission while enjoying the complimentary aperitif. Consequently, the night was not really quiet until after the festivities. Breakfast is available at the station café.Translating
