Lakeside daytime parking, noisy and busy

Wonderful free parking and free swimming with lifeguards in July and August. Top spot.✦Translating

Lots of foreign discotheques day and night. Overnight stays PROHIBITED, €150 fine. We were fined once by post and once woken in the middle of the night and sent away. NEVER AGAIN! During the day you can safely stay here and walk around. Swimming is also PROHIBITED, except during the Belgian holidays with a lifeguard from 1 July to 1 September. Officially, dogs are not allowed in the water or off leash either, otherwise you get a bigger fine. Better to go to the campsite 5 minutes farther on by the water.✦Translating

Always space available. Enjoyed swimming in the lake with the dogs. The weather was beautiful and it was the weekend, so it was somewhat busy. The bar was open with music. Toilets available.✦Translating

Perfect place for swimming, beautiful walks and cycling routes. It is on the cycling network and within cycling distance of large cities. Toilets at the lake are available in summer, and there is a shower at the adjacent campsite. Quiet at night, plenty of room for very large motorhomes. Paved and grassy surfaces.✦Translating

Large, secluded car park. Good for one night. You can sometimes hear the nearby road, but overall it is quiet. A beautiful small lake is nearby.✦Translating

Calm at night. The size of the place made you feel alone in a good way.
