Been here?
This is a gravel motorhome area beside the indoor pool, used as an alternative when the spa-area pitch is full. A recent stay cost 21€, with access to the lake, trampolines and spa facilities. The area can be quiet and level, but it has also become muddy and overcrowded at times. Toilets and showers are available through the campground only during pool opening hours, so guests should be self-sufficient from 20-10.

The best €21 I have ever spent: camper area, access to the lake and trampolines, access to the spa, football and basketball pitches, and more.
We spontaneously parked and slept there for a few hours. It was quiet and level. Excellent.
A great place just for spending the night. We paid €18 for one night for two people. We did not use electricity, which I think would have cost extra. You can temporarily use the campsite's toilets and showers, which are in good condition and directly at the entrance, so not far away. The spa is a seven-minute walk through the beautiful spa park.
A gravel site that was flooded and muddy when we were directed there because the other site was supposedly full. At €13 plus €5 tourist tax, it costs €2 more than the site nearer the town, which is incomprehensible. Not a proper motorhome site for us.
So far, we have liked the site. We use it when the site at the spa is already occupied, but currently the reception opening hours are very inconvenient for visiting the spa. Yesterday, when we arrived shortly before 8 p.m., nobody was there, and today they do not open until 10 a.m. Please offer online payment or a parking meter.
The site is fantastic! Currently €13 per night plus €2.50 tourist tax per person per night. With the guest card, you can enter the indoor pool or swimming lake FREE once a day and use the hiking buses towards Staffelberg. The spa park is beautiful, even with brine towers for people with respiratory problems. On the other side of the spa park there is the spa and a great bistro serving delicious food.
The site itself is okay. What is incomprehensible is the price: €15 at the spa, but €18 here including tax. If you could use the campsite's showers and toilets, it would be acceptable. Otherwise, a nice site that is not as cramped as the spa site when that one is full. You can enter Adam Riese Baths for free.
As new campers, we cannot understand it. The conditions for this site are basically okay. However, just like the site at the spa, it is constantly overcrowded. You are packed in side by side like sardines. Dust rises whenever someone drives in or out. We do not like that. We drove to the site in Lichtenfels instead.
Quiet, basic but well-located motorhome site. It is important to be self-sufficient between 8 p.m. and 10 a.m., as the toilets are only open during the swimming pool's opening hours. The price of €15.50 for a bus-sized vehicle with one person is perfectly reasonable considering free use of the swimming pool without a time limit and the swimming lake. I will definitely use this site again if I am nearby.
Really nice site directly beside the Aqua Riese indoor pool. €13 plus €2.50 tourist tax per person, including admission to the indoor pool and swimming lake. You can also simply go to the pool to take a shower.
You can stay here comfortably. Aqua Riese swimming pool included. Five minutes on foot through the spa park. The town is small but pleasant. Stadtcafé is recommended.
FRANKEN Power site: overnight stays, disposal and filling facilities, great lakes for swimming, inflatable water park, stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, cycling and walking, with a view of Staffelberg. The nearby REWE sells Upper Franconian beers. At the swimming lake, a large portion of fries with mayonnaise costs €3.50. The showers are outdated, the site is carelessly gravelled, and you can hear trains at night. €17.50 for two people, including swimming pool and lake access.
Quiet site, nothing special. Fine for one night.
We stayed here for two nights and paid €36, including tourist tax and free admission to the swimming pool and lake. Toilets and showers can be used free of charge in the swimming pool. Pleasant surroundings with several lakes. What bothered us was that, due to the good weather, the lake was so busy that cars parked between the campers, meaning it was not particularly peaceful.
Basic gravel site without comfort. Use of the indoor pool is included in the site price, bringing the price down to an acceptable level.
The €5 tourist tax is pure rip-off!
Quiet site beside the swimming pool, as the large spa was completely overcrowded. Small but pleasant indoor pool with an extremely friendly cashier. Showers and swimming were excellent. The site is level and gravelled. Filling and disposal facilities are available as already described.
Thanks to the town for this lovely camping spot. The spa can be reached on foot through the beautiful spa park. Very quiet at night. Showers are available in the indoor swimming pool right next to the site.
The site is very basic and not particularly attractive. For us with children, the value for money was very good, as admission to the bathing lake is already included in the overnight price. The night was quiet and O2 internet reception was good.
