46500, Rocamadour
Been here?
A quiet, fairly flat wild spot near Rocamadour, reached by an unpaved but passable road marked by arrows. It has 4G but no amenities, and recent rain can soften the ground enough to make access impossible. The area offers several small spaces, with a 1.8km walking route to Rocamadour. Animal remains nearby have recently caused an unpleasant smell.

You can find plenty of quiet places to spend the night; it was lovely. I was there with my family and my cat!!Translating
The spot is very good; unfortunately, there are numerous decomposing animal bones right next to it. I will let you imagine the smell…Translating
Impossible to get up there tonight. The rain of the last few days has softened the ground too much. But it looked good.Translating
Really great, thank you for publishing this place.Translating
I spent a peaceful night there; it is also just a few minutes from Rocamadour.Translating
Very quiet. There was already a motorhome parked in the spot shown in the photo, but there are two other small spaces a little farther ahead, ideal for smaller vehicles. I have a car, but a van fits, as one parked in the last space later in the evening.Translating
Very quiet and accessible by car, with almost no light pollution—perfect for stargazing.Translating
Beside a track. We simply stopped there for a meal.Translating
Quiet and accessible place.Translating
Nice, quiet spot. The only drawback is that some disgusting people have left toilet paper along the edge. We picked it up when we left.Translating
A quiet night, just a stone’s throw from Rocamadour. Flat ground. A local out walking told us that from September there would be a ban because this is a Natura 2000 area.Translating
27 May 2025. Accessible via a small dirt road, with a few potholes but nothing serious. In the middle of nature, with 2 to 4 spaces. No prohibition on site. It is possible to walk to Rocamadour via a 1.8 km path, downhill on the way there.Translating
