Just went for the day, walked out to the beautiful waterfalls. No charge this time of year, signs for no camping but couldn’t see any one around… lots of garage cans but no glass recycling. Definitely worth visiting - don’t think they’ll allow motorhomes but again- no one was there to check today.
The GPS directions send you along a dirt road in the middle of nowhere—be careful!! After following the road, we saw signs for the waterfalls, but because we had no reservation we could not enter, even though it was 8 p.m. and the parking meter was empty.
Warning!! You have to make a reservation online.
Amazing natural pools formed on a 1km stretch of river. Bring rock/water booties as the rocks can be sharp. Went here on a weekend and it was packed. Went back on a work day and we were alone. Nearest parking (about 65 spots) opens at 10:00 and closes at 20:00...as mentioned €10 per day, no motorhomes.
Motorhomes are not allowed, even when it is almost empty; it is clearly stated. You have to park 2.5 km from this parking area and walk up, but it is worth it. For overnight stays, go to Enguídanos.
We went on a Monday in September and there were about 20 people. Spectacular place in the heart of nature, with amazing waterfalls. We visited the lower ones, which are not very deep and are suitable for children.
