Spacious riverside site, pool access included

Close to the Rhine, with lots of greenery around. However, it is also near the parking lot, which creates some noise. At €20 it is too expensive. We spent two nights there.

The swimming pool, including its showers and toilets, only opens at 10 a.m., when you actually want to be back on the road. So it is a pitch with no facilities, apart from electricity, which you still have to pay for. Then €20 is really too much. In the next village you get the same for half the price.

We liked the location and the use of the Rhine pool, including the sanitary facilities. For €20, 24 hours is perfectly fine.

First of all, thanks to the municipality! Waste disposal and fresh-water facilities are excellent. Use of the swimming pool is excellent too. However, the recreational value could be improved by marking the pitches a little larger. In the evening, the boy racers and car posers may provide a new source of revenue through fines. It was definitely too cramped and too noisy for us. A shame for such a facility!

Paid by card at machine. 20 Euros for 24 hours, which included access to good showers at the swimming pool. Grey water and Elsan disposal and fresh water all good. Good pitches and nice peaceful site. Close to Rhine for beautiful walks and a restaurant.

Nice, on the banks of the Rhine, 15 minutes on foot from the center. Restaurants next to the site. The plus: a beautiful view of the river and river traffic. The minus: the parking-style machine is only in German and not very user-friendly.

Noisy and smelly from exhaust fumes from passing cars; okay for one night. The price is only justified by the two hours of swimming-pool use.

Perfectly acceptable at €20. We will visit the swimming pool and sauna tomorrow.

Nice site, beautiful area, great swimming pool, but a little noisy at night because of the boy racers with their loud cars and music. Nice town center.

We were there at the end of February, Saturday and Sunday. The site was busy. The €20 is perfectly reasonable because admission to the swimming pool for two people is included. We arrived at 3 p.m. on Saturday, and the parking ticket is valid for 24 hours. So we could use the pool on Saturday and Sunday morning. Admission for both days alone would have cost us €22.

Everything was fine. €20 plus electricity if wanted. Admission to the Rhine pool is included; it has been renovated and is a great outdoor pool. For our family, admission alone would have cost €16. We swam and showered every day. The Rhine is just around the corner. Walking into town took about 30 minutes with the children. We will return on warmer days and explore everything by bike.

Relatively narrow pitches, and we did not particularly like the location either. The proximity to the Rhine is about the only positive.

For €20, absolutely fine. Waste disposal and fresh-water facilities are available, and the swimming-pool toilets can be used from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. about 150 meters away, plus two hours of swimming per day for a maximum of two people.

€20 for nothing! Electricity also has to be paid for separately. It feels like a parking lot all day, with doors slamming from the swimming-pool car park!

The price-to-value ratio is absolutely poor! If there were toilets and showers directly on site, or a common room, it would be different. What a shame! We will not come here again!

Unfortunately, the disproportionate price increase is a reason for us not to return. Too little for too much money.

We have known the site for a long time. Increasing the pitch fee directly from €11 to €20 cannot be justified by the new swimming pool. If electricity were included in return, that would be different. We will no longer use this site!

There is no such thing as a perfect solution! Anyone who does not like it here or finds it too expensive can simply drive on. The site was well maintained, and anyone who searches long enough will find a toilet in most motorhomes, sometimes even a shower! Yes, the road is noisy during the day, but you can walk along the Rhine, have a coffee, or stroll into town.

A nice practical motorhome stop, not a campsite! For €20, admission to the pool for two hours is included for two people, so it is good value. Waste and fresh-water facilities are beside the pool parking lot. The town center is within walking distance, 1.2 km away.

Never again for us. Not everyone wants to use the pool, and having the toilets and showers far from the pitch does not justify raising the price from €11 to €20, especially for such a poorly maintained site.

Unfortunately, there is a very busy road right next to it, with youths playing extremely loud music or revving their engines. Others might call them car posers. The Wi-Fi is also terrible, practically nonexistent. The pitches are quite narrow with an awning, and shower times are tied to the swimming pool. Personally, I prefer any woodland or meadow pitch where you can have peace and quiet. The only nice thing is the proximity to the Rhine. One star for that, and that is all.

€20 too expensive.

Update: The €20 price includes free admission to the new swimming complex for two hours per day per motorhome. Since a normal two-hour single ticket already costs €5.50, the price increase is put into perspective. In the hot weather, the two of us used the pool for free and really enjoyed it. Also, arriving on Sunday or Monday means you can stay four days while paying for three.
