Been here?
Camping Le Pré Cathare, also called Village des Bons Hommes, offers shaded motorhome pitches, including level concrete platforms, with the town reachable on foot. Recent reports mention very friendly service, electricity and water, but also describe dirty conditions, inadequate electrical installations and no wastewater emptying point. Sanitary facilities have been reported as both new and clean and, more recently, very dirty. A van for two adults without electricity cost 26€.

Very dirty campsite, electricity not up to standard, no wastewater disposal, no streetlights. You will be surrounded by residents living year-round in mobile homes and will have to put up with their problems. The Lavelanet town council has installed a Park4night area just 100 meters before this unsanitary place. I invite you to go there; it is much better and, above all, cheaper!
Very friendly welcome. However, the price is too high: one van, two adults, no electricity, €26.
Very pleasant, quiet campsite. New and very clean sanitary facilities. Very friendly welcome and a lot of kindness. The staff are always available to help. €22.72 with electricity. The town is accessible on foot.
I wanted to point out that there is no wastewater disposal. Seriously, avoid it.
The campsite is called Village des Bons Hommes. Perfect welcome, new and clean sanitary facilities. The motorhome area is well shaded and surrounded by nature. A plus: perfectly level concrete platforms. Electricity and water available. The owners are exceptionally kind. Thank you for your welcome and kindness.
The campsite is very good. We are in a van and had a shaded pitch, which was not a luxury given the heat of over 35 degrees. The sanitary facilities are clean and look recent. We paid €33.70 for the pitch and electricity. Very warm welcome.
Terrible campsite, avoid it, and expensive. The sanitary facilities are dirty.
Very helpful owners, and the campsite is really lovely with very clean sanitary facilities! The shower water is nice and hot! The Super U is a five-minute walk away!
Be sure to use the address shown on Park4night, because if you press the GPS icon in the app, it sends you down a barely accessible path. The campsite's name has also been changed, so be careful. Otherwise, new sanitary facilities, plus another less well-maintained block. The owner is very friendly. Concrete pitch, so level. Washing machine and dryer cost €9. €22.72 for one motorhome with electricity.
Very friendly welcome. New, heated sanitary facilities.
Campsite with lots of shade. The staff are very friendly and make sure your stay is perfect. New and very clean facilities. Laundry service is also available. A swimming pool that looks Olympic-sized! The permanent residents are very friendly. Very level pitches, some even with concrete.
The campsite is now called Village des Bons Hommes. It opens on April 1, but staying one night was no problem. The owner first showed us the toilets and showers to check whether they were acceptable for us. They were very dirty. Everything was poorly maintained. There are no services, only electricity. We had to pay €21.72. Very expensive for what is offered! Dogs were not charged. It is strange to have to pay for a dog anyway!
The staff and tenants are extremely friendly. They helped us with everything and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. It looks like it would be good for children in summer.
