A large pull-off lay-by beside a farmer’s field, shielded by trees and suitable for 5-6 camper vans. It is secluded and generally quiet, with passing traffic becoming quieter after 9pm. The surface is clean and there is full 4G signal, but there are no bins, so take your rubbish with you. The lay-by has occasionally been closed until October/November.

Stayed here 2 nights on our journey, really quiet large lay-by, the road didn’t bother us. No bins so take your rubbish with you.

Nice little secluded parking area near to the main road, but goes quiet after 9pm, no one bothers you.
Lovely place to park overnight just us and a field full of sheep …. Oh and a cemetery. Very quiet we heard a little traffic noise but it stopped at around 9pm. One other vehicle pulled up in the morning and a few passing joggers . Would definitely stay again. There are no bins so please take your rubbish with you and leave the place tidy for other users
