Riverside overnight stop, train noise

A great place directly by the river. If you like the sound of flowing water while sleeping and need plenty of space, this is exactly right. Although it is directly beside the E6, it is much quieter than other places along the road. Large motorhomes can park here easily. We slept well. Take your rubbish with you! Respect nature!

Perfect place for one night while passing through. You can hear the road only faintly, and you are somewhat more sheltered than at the car parks farther along the E6. Beautiful view of the river.

Beautiful place to spend one night. Directly beside the river. There were three campers in total. We could hear the road and occasional passing trains, but they did not disturb us.

This is probably a good place to have a short rest along the road but we didn't find it suitable for staying longer because, in August, during the day it was noisy because it is close to a busy road and not far from a railway.

The noise from passing traffic is easy to tolerate because of the sound of the river, but there is a railway line directly on the other side of the water. It is considerably louder than cars and trucks. Otherwise, the place is spacious, with enough room for several vehicles to maintain a respectful distance. Excellent for a stopover—you are back on your route first thing the next morning!

Really nice spot to spend the night. E6 road is close but the sound of the river just kills it. Quite night, perfec view and lot of spaces. How can you complain?

We weren't there overnight. The place was ideal for taking a break: sunny with a view of the stream.

A train passes by occasionally and can be heard, but in my opinion its sound is drowned out by the rushing stream :P Here and there you can find toilet paper in the bushes; please don't copy this :/

This place is just right when passing through. On Saturday evening, the road was barely audible. The river was a beautiful view. We felt safe. Perfect.

Very peaceful despite the road and train; we spent the night without any problems.
