Been here?
A secluded roadside spot with room for one small or medium van beside an overhanging tree and a public footpath sign. It has exceptional views over the surrounding landscape and Hathersage, with very quiet nights and memorable sunsets. Recent changes have left the ground uneven and sloping, making it unsuitable for larger campers; one recent stay found it perfect for a SWB van. Leave access clear for the nearby private gate.

Perfect for one short-wheelbase van; I do not know if it has recently been made very uneven on purpose.
An earth embankment has been built on the road. I could not find a way to park even slightly level with my 5.4-meter van. Perhaps a smaller van could fit.
Amazing view. This was our first night in our tent box and this spot was just perfect. A little bit over grown in places. I’ll definitely be going back at some point.
Nice place for a small vehicle, perfect for our Partner ☺️
great spot for a night. single place for a small camper. amazing views, right next to a public footpath.
I don’t feel like this is suitable for any size camper. Perhaps someone has dumped soil here since the last person stayed but it’s ridiculously slopey. I couldn’t get my T6 in.
Only suitable for small campers. Brilliant views and very very quiet night
