Been here?
A small, quiet place directly beside a beautiful lake, suitable for 3-4 smaller campers. Swimming and fishing are possible, with a wooden toilet, stone fireplace and a small hut for processing fish; there is no beach. The nearby road has very little traffic, and walking to Vassbotn is possible. No mobile phone connection is available, and mosquitoes may be present near the water.

Very nice place, quiet, with hardly any traffic despite the nearby tunnel. Very good fishing spot. A small hut is available for preparing the fish. A few locals came by, and we had a very pleasant conversation. The ground is level, so leveling blocks are unnecessary.
Nice place by the water, quiet. Perfect for a night :)
Very good, extremely peaceful spot. Isolated and therefore quiet. Put up the mosquito net in the evening, as there are mosquitoes near the water. You can even watch salmon jumping.
The place has its own atmosphere. Ideal for two motorhomes. There is a bench and a wooden toilet. At the entrance, there is a wooden shelter with fishing instructions.
Very quiet place, 10 minutes from the motorway. There is hardly any traffic at night. Toilets are available, and there is room for several motorhomes. We don't understand the comments about falling rocks; in our opinion, there is no danger at all.
Perfect, very quiet. Beautiful lake.
We had a quiet night. Beautiful location with a view of the water. Waze says, when coming from the E6, that you have reached your destination before the bridge. However, you must cross the bridge and turn left before the tunnel. In our opinion, it is not private there and there is no danger of falling rocks.
Great site in nature. There is a composting toilet. We slept very peacefully; in the morning a second van parked next to us, so the place was well occupied. Three caravans, as others have written, seems unlikely to me.
Warning ⚠️ dangerous rockslide! And Private property. This is not an official motorhome stopover. It is private land and not meant for overnight stays. There is a serious rockfall hazard from the mountain, which makes it dangerous. The electricity pole is also damaged. We were personally warned by the landowner and left. There used to be a No Camping sign, but it has been removed.
This spot were occupied by three big campers but it is possible to stop by the road, directly by the river. It is quiet with beautiful view and very little cars passing by.
Nice, quiet place on a narrow country road with hardly any noticeable traffic. Two or three moderately sized motorhomes can fit.
Nice place, we stayed the night easily. Arrived at 10pm and had a quiet night. Two other campers were there too. Fires are possible. We caught some mini trout too. Please keep it clean, unfortunately some rubbish flying around.
Beautiful place. Excellent water quality. But there are very, very many huge horseflies that make life difficult. We are currently trying Thermacell. Please do not cut down live trees for firewood.
Beautiful and very quiet place. We came here after the ferry crossing. From about 3 a.m. to 9 a.m., only one car and one pedestrian passed by. We left a little toilet paper in the toilet.
Nice place to spend the night. Picnic table. Quiet.
Beautiful, quiet place by the lake. Small little wooden toilet available. Maximum capacity is three or four vehicles. Somewhat away from the main traffic. We had a lovely, quiet night.
Okay for an overnight stop. Clean dry toilet.
Very beautiful and quiet place near the E6, perfect for one night. Directly by the lake, with a fire pit and toilet.
The place is as described. The route along the lake to the nearest village is more of an overgrown path at the moment. A short walk with the dog is possible, though. Mobile reception from Telekom/O2 is LTE. We were alone there.
A little off the beaten track. We had a very quiet night and were alone here. Fire pit and picnic table available. We did not inspect the dry toilet.
Quiet and cozy.
Lots of space. The toilet is “clean,” but there is a lot of toilet paper and wipes in the surrounding area. We were there with a rooftop tent, and there was indeed strong wind at night, but by positioning your vehicle cleverly, you can find shelter. The water is difficult to reach, so it is hard to use for washing dishes or similar. Beautiful view and walking opportunities.
Beautiful place. It is close to a busy road. Beware: in strong winds, it is even windier here, so be careful with rooftop tents!
Beautiful place. The old Norwegian who is often here was very nice and told us a lot about his fishing gear and old anecdotes from his life. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you; if you enjoy company, it is great!
