Been here?
A quiet lakeside parking area by a historic wooden bridge, with several pitches on gravel and grass and attractive views. There are no toilets or fresh water, but covered picnic tables, fire places and free firewood are available. The bridge is currently closed, and trains are slightly audible during the day while nights can be very quiet. Dog mess is currently a serious problem, so take care where you walk.

Everything as described, beautiful lakeside site—but the dog mess everywhere is extreme. You have to be careful not to step in it. A great shame for this place! Therefore only three stars from me.Translating
We stayed on Sunday and Sunday night; the view was very pleasant! You can hear the train a little during the day, but at night it was very quiet. There are small covered tables that are very useful for eating or other purposes. There are definitely more than four spaces. The bridge is currently closed because some beams are broken, but that does not detract from the charm of the place! I recommend it.Translating
Great, quiet parking area for several motorhomes, partly gravel and partly grass. We stayed from Saturday to Sunday. No disturbance at all. BUT it is really disgusting that some dog owners simply leave their dogs’ waste behind. The grass and gravel were covered with it, especially around the small swimming area.Translating
Very nice place by the water. Quiet! 500 meters away there is a lovely swimming spot with a sandy beach. Part of the parking area is currently being used to store various work vehicles. We spoke with the site manager, who said they would be finished soon.Translating
A beautiful place by the river, with hiking trails, seating, and several pitches. Unfortunately, the behavior of the youngsters on weekends until about 1 a.m. is simply disrespectful. Never again and no recommendation! Maybe it is quiet during the week…???Translating
A superb place for one night or more. Beautiful walks to enjoy. Thank you to the municipality.Translating
Great place in summer. In winter it is not cleared; we would have got stuck, so we drove on.Translating
What a beautiful patch of earth. Great parking area with several hiking trails, swimming spots nearby, fire pits, and firewood. Many thanks to those responsible. We were here for the second time and will definitely return someday.Translating
Perfect free municipal parking area. Absolute peace, disturbed only by the crackling campfire (firewood is also provided free of charge) and the occasional bell of the railway crossing. There are gravel pitches as well as grassy ones farther back. Circular walking routes are very pleasant. Thank you to the municipality. Please leave a donation!Translating
Superb place for a stop when passing by. Thanks to comunity
Perfect free parking area with enough space for 8–10 motorhomes. Great view of the river and the old wooden bridge. Picnic tables and a campfire area with firewood are available. The municipality asks for a voluntary donation (small mailbox)—please use it so that such great places can be maintained. Please leave the site clean. Thanks to the municipality of Ånge for setting up this parking area.Translating
Clean, almost newly built site. I would say there are eight comfortable pitches or a few more if people park sensibly (some cannot). No water or waste services and no rubbish bins. Many thanks to the municipality for providing it; anyone looking for services should stay away.Translating
The site is clean and beautifully located by the river. Even with seven motorhomes, it was still spacious, with no cramped parking. Rubbish bins are available.Translating
A perfect place by a river for spending the night, or even longer. The setting is very pleasant, facing the old wooden bridge used as a diving board by local youngsters who come swimming! The many trains on the nearby railway line did not prevent us from sleeping. No services, but rubbish bins are available.Translating
